To be honest, I can't see us buying a defender so I think you'll keep them. We got a promising young defender in the summer and we've got some great prospects coming through.

I think we can put this rumour to bed.

 

Yeah.. Martin Kelly is a MUCH, much better defender than Raylor, but Raylor's dead-balls have to be one of the best in the prem!

Ryan Taylor is a non story, but wouldn't be surprised if you went for Coloccini. Not that I want you to like haha

 

Coates and Wilson are good prospects but at the moment you are having to play Skrtel, who frankly is a bit crap.

I get the feeling that Kenny is pretty happy with our defence. Carragher is coming to the end of his career but we've got players like Agger and Coates who can come in and do a decent job. I would be surprised if we went for a defender in January.

Skrtel has improved massively in the past year or so but most Liverpool fans feel he's always got a error in him... Most of us prefer Agger than Skrtel.

He is starting to command his box really well now also. Making the right decisions when to come for the ball (mostly bar fulham.) Think that mistake at chelsea in the 2-2 game probably taught him a lot and he has improved on just being a great shot stopper which we already knew he was. Distribution is a bit poor at times, kicked it out of play 3 or 4 times under no real pressure on sat but that'll improve. Great keeper and glad he is number 1

 

Krul has been nothing short of stunning this season, glad he's our number 1 choice. Hoping he doesn't get too complacent now that Harper has been loaned out, but he doesn't seem the type; from interviews he seems a top professional and a good lad.

 

I hope John Ruddy has a 'typical' performance against you guys, you might just change your minds.
He is a cracking keeper and pretty sure if he keeps up his current form will get an England call up before the end of the season

 

I'll be honest I've barely watched your lads at all this season, will make the match all the more interesting I suppose.

 

I kind of guessed that as we do not appear on the radar yet. TBH that is how we like it, just keep going along nice and quietly
Seriously though the guy has come up from L1 and made the step up over the last 2 seasons with ease. Still might make the odd error in judgement but some of the saves he has made (even this season) have been quite amazing.
If you can get a clip of our Liverpool game at the weekend and see his save in injury time you will see what I mean, he saved the game

 

I'll give the highlights a watch. With regards to wanting your season to go well under the radar, we're generally wanting exactly the same; who needs the press to give a **** right?
