James Perch. Worst RB I've ever seen, but gradually developed into a very useful squad player in our top 5 season. Started as a RB, turned into a CM/CDM/CB cover ------- Joelinton Worst forward I've ever seen, turns into a beast of a CM, and will likely be a useful squad player soon. Can't score to save his life but helps turn our midfield into a fortress. ------- Coloccini I didn't understand the praise he got even in the championship, but the season we finished 5th he was in team of the season along side Kompany, and was an insanely cool CB to watch. ****ing dreadful defender at first, but after two seasons in english football he turned into the best NUFC CB I've seen since being a season ticket holder.
I don't hate any players who just aren't good enough but try, I did hate Diame his first couple of seasons here because I dont believe he was trying and then Lascelles got a hold of him (what the hell happened to that version?) And he turned into a decent player for us although he did end up keeping Merino out of the team
This but Shola only after the 5-1 and when he retired did I start to feel any positive feelings towards him
Shola was too lazy for me and should have been shipped out. What's worse is that his laziness is there for all to see now that he is the loans manager. Anderson should have been at a team in a higher league and not at the pirates
Kevin Nolan - ****ing nightmare when we first got him for the first half season. Total beast in the championship and the next season in the Prem. Ryan Taylor - as above Steve Howey - abomination of a striker, then became an awesome defender. Joelinton I always liked tbh, you could see his talent, just that he was not a goalscorer. Coloccini had a great period after an awful first season, he was absolute dreck towards the end of his career here though. Shelvey has always been Shelvey, massive talent, but so inconsistent.
Actually Mitro - raving psycho at first getting red cards in every game, but them kind of awesome by the end of his first season. Always new he was gonna be a legend wherever he ended up at.
If I hate them fast I tend to hate them forever. Michael Owen I loved and then started to despise. I hate the sight and sound of him.
I think pretty much everyone who supports any football team hates Michael Owen, if you have any other emotion towards him you're just wierd. His autobiography is a hilarious read - blames us for ruining his career, talks up his Man U days like he was a key player there, and tries to make out his a Liverpool legend despite the fact they all hate him there.
I don't think I've really hated anyone? Oh hang on Mark Stimson. I never changed my mind either. Well I did, it just turned to pity not love though.
Don't generally hate players or it works the other way a la Owen. Buzzing when he arrived by the time he left I disliked him and then everything that came out after... Chris Wood if I had to pick one but doubt he'll ever change my mind
Btw, everyone was ****ing off Wouthurt because he has a bit more of a foreign name than Wood. Everyone saying we wasted our money and Burnley proved us to look like twats. Wouthurt has been absolutely ****ing ****, now could be out injured. Thank you very much you are wrong again.
