So young Joel Bagan gets another chance to claim that LWB spot through Doughty's bad injury at just about the same time as he did last season when Joe Bennett did his knee ligaments. Though inexperienced, he did pretty well but then dislocated his shoulder and was out for the rest of the season. Didn't have a chance first half of this season with Giles in the building, but seems to have gained a lot of confidence playing regularly for the under 23's. With Giles not coming back and his intended replacement Doughty out for probably 2 months, Joel has another chance to stake his claim - hope the lad takes it.
Its the dificulty with having a lot of youngsters in a side. Need experience to support some of these guys. McGuinnes inside him is still relatively inexperienced so its Ralls infront of him that needs to talk him through games. Plenty of potential, just need to nurture it. Quite a few of these guys will be all the better next year for their experiences this. Just need them to be as positive as possible.

Looks like he has come through his sticky patch. Will be good to have him in competition with Doughty when he returns.
It was my saver punt Bluey. After withdrawing some dosh (winnings ) from my account I had £64 left in there before the game. I stuck 50 quid @ 12/5 on City winning - and 10 quid @ 9/1 on Doyle getting a goal I had 4 quid left so I had a go on Bagan @ 16/1 - lucky or what?...............
OK, for those interested, here's little wager for you on tonight's Championship game. Don't bother backing West Brom to win this home game under new man Bruce - they're odds on @10/11 - not worth the risk. However, if you go for them to win with both teams scoring, it's on offer with B365 @ 9/2. Now that's really worth a punt.
................. "Dozens" is a bit strong - in fact very strong, but like most of us we ignore our failings.........
Hey, there's few enough of us on here as it is. Cant afford a ban. In fact, a bit of scandal might draw a few more in.
Well you, clingo and Barry Tiger liked his post so that's 4 of you gone. 'Ang on a minute - that's half the forum - I'll have to reconsider.....
I was playing Devil's Advocate. However for a forum of so few active members we enjoy a great divergence of different threads with many relevant and intellectual comments. Other Not606 forums seem to dwell on a limited number of threads with any out of the blue points focused on a single thread dedicated to that, e.g. on the Spurs page they have The Bill Nicholson Arms. As a result some issues, without a headline, disappear very quickly. The only other page I know which has countless differing threads is Barnsley. But they are nuts (in a good way) and rarely discuss football.
Without blowing our own trumpet about this forum - it may be low in numbers but it's high in quality.
