BREAKING. Forum staff member under investigation Forum staff member brb is believed to have been under virtual investigation following placing a virtual bet with the knowledge of inside information. An uncharacteristic bet of £500 to win was placed on Gillingham which duly returned £1,325. However, a study of betting pattern revealed that a similar bet had been placed once before which failed to give a return. Several other bets varying from £150 TO £300 had also failed to produce a return. The investigation was quickly dropped due to insufficient evidence
Neil Harris mate, he's overseen 2 home games and 2 home wins, he already owns 40% of our win ratio this season. With five other teams around us last night losing, we have quickly closed the points gap, setting us up nicely for the away trip to Morecambe on Saturday. We did lose away at Ipswich 1-0 last Saturday, but we certainly gave a good account of ourselves
I would like to put on record that I have absolutely no inside or outside information whatsoever. This doesn't need investigation just a glance at my credit balance.
Hope you do better than us on Saturday geeny. Have a look at this https://www.not606.com/threads/come-on-you-blues-chairboys-v-shrews-8th-feb-22.398764/#post-15601574
I always think that possession stats don't really mean much Ron. You can have the ball 90% of the time and lose. The only stat that gets remembered or counts is the goals tally. You only have to look at the Chelsea game we had. They had the ball for the vast majority of the game and at 90 minutes we were drawing 1 - 1. They had loads and loads of shots and only scored 2 in 120 minutes. Shrewsbury need the points and away from home will do whatever to get them. I've seen many a game like that and although as a paying customer I want to see a game played I can't really condemn them for it. You can always tell what kind of team you are playing by the time wasting in the first 10 minutes. If it's happening then it is going to be a slog.
Shrewsbury have drawn their last four games, & I think they did a Wycombe on us the only good thing about the game they didn't score. How many times have we done exactly the same if I remember right we went up to Rotherham a few years ago had about 25% of the play & won 1-0
I was thinking the same Phil. But knowing my luck something would happen to cause a draw so, at those odds, I left it. You should be OK now
