Our next games come thick and fast. Inter 16th feb Norwich Leeds Chelsea Norwich West ham Inter Brighton Utd 20th march 9 games in 32 days? Use of the squad with the addition of Diaz will be important going forward. Very exciting to see. Norwich game in fa cup will be a chance for a lot of senior players who sit on a bench to stake a claim. This fixture list is the equivalent of a second festive calender for us.
all of that is so shambolic it is unbelievable that this is engurlund first choice and man utd skipper under agent ole. Its not even the fact he has no talent or pace. its the complete lack of mental awareness that's astonishing.
A highly technical bit of prediction shows the following: Man. City 93 points gd 67 Liverpool 85 points gd 62 Chelsea 76 points Arsenal 66 points (54% chance of happening) Man. United 60 points 15% chance of top 4 Tottenham 60 14% chance of top 4 West Ham 58 points onoly 9% shot at top 4. Wolves 57, 6% shot Brighton 55 4% shot. and why is this? "**** nose" most likely its down to the fact that arsenal defense is now rated higher than man utd (not that either is good) and all the big side have a slightly better chance of scoring goals than west ham. Perversely Brighton are the best side other than the top 3 right now but have left themsevles too much to do. They have only lost 4 games but have draw too many cos they've not scored enough but since christmas their form is Watford win leictster draw (should have won) Chesela draw Palace draw (derby) Brentford win their next games are man utd, burnely, villa and newcastle. In other words nothing but ****.
Didn't appreciate just how ****e Dominoes and Papa John's pizzas were until real Italian restaurants started doing deliveries during the pandemic. Or until I realised they did deliveries anyway.
How the heck can you get to the age you have without knowing what real Italian pizza tastes like? I bet you still don't lol. You probably just discovered Pizza Express
We’ve got a nice sourdough pizza place near us. They only do 4 different toppings, feel like that’s the mark of a good pizza place. They trust the pizza and flavours so don’t have to offer 18 different pizzas with low quality meat. Saying that, a proper sloppy dominos now and then is good. And some of the starters are great. When they did the pepperoni garlic ball twist things
Not sure if you have Cicis or Little Caesars over there... Both are absurdly cheap pizzas $5 for a large. Cici also has done in buffet used to be $4.99 all you can eat... I think it may have gone up a couple dollars though recently. They're not good pizza... Even Papa John's is better... But they're cheap and when you have three kids it's a good alternative to real food.
I have to say I'll never forget being taken for lunch in yankland to an Italian. You know lunch at 12noon in yankland. 24 ****ing inch pizza for one fat **** and she then proceeded to doggy bag half. (Yes she ate half of that) ao she got the family fed (in theory) on the company cos I was there at it was less than 10 "bucks" I do suspect she ate the rest for her afternoon snack though. Personally that's not Italian pizza. Italian = a slice with salad not a pie.
Is that a thick dough deep pan type pizza? I only ask because it's interesting that the way pizzas developed in America is completely the opposite of the original Italian. And we over here for a long time followed the American style. I once went to a place called Chicago Pizza Pie Factory. Not sure if they originate from America or just a marketing gimmick. The title should give a clue as to what the pizzas were like.
No they're just generic cheapo New York style pizza. Personally, I prefer the deep dish style myself though.
I quite like the deep pan too, but not the big brand ones. There's a place near me that's just an independent little pizza place and their deep pans are something else. Deep dough but light and still has a slightly crispy base. Even the cheese tastes like cheese and fresh toppings. Well worth it over the ****e we get at Pizza Hut.
Not trying to be antagonistic, but surely if you have a big family and are on a budget then cooking for yourself is the cheapest option? Or doesn't anyone do that any more?
Pizza Express is no better than Frankie and Benny's. No, I admit it, as somebody who prefers Italian food to Indian or Chinese, that the gobsmackingly good pizzas you get at genuine Italian restaurants are just as good by delivery. Just never thought, till the pandemic, to pay the extra for a proper, proper pizza, without stuffed crust cheese wedges, and Christ knows what. Then again, we have here in York in Delrio's one of the finest Italians in the North, that I go to at least three times a year: they didn't do deliveries until the lockdown either. I don't think they realised what they had on their hands either.
