It wasn’t on Robins TV for UK based viewers. For oversea viewers it was on.

Quite honestly RR I just couldn't be bothered to get my arse out of bed to watch another horror show and will restrict my Robins TV watching to matches at a reasonable time over here. Thanks for info.

Spot on, of course he is right, it started in the very first game of the season and has been going on for most of the season, I am surprised that it has taken 32 games for him to actually say this, some of us have known this for far too long, whilst others have blindly defended some players in this squad.

Didn’t manage to see any of the game, (blessing) but wasn’t really surprised with the result. I believe we just need to make sure we keep our championship status, that’s all that matters now.
imo, as soon as we do find ourselves safe, NP needs to experiment with his players and tactics and then try to work out the system and players required going forward..

Very sensible post and I agree, 32 games in and some players are taking the piss and robbing a good living from the club, the mistakes that saw us drop 2 points in the first league game at home to Blackpool late into stoppage time are still being made usually by the same old suspects, they need to be moved on to kiss a badge elsewhere and they can kiss my rusty sherries badge on their way out.

I think he has been doing this, we have seen so many different formations this season, and a lot of players used (injuries have not helped him here to be fair). I have said many times that I think Kalas is not the great player many claim him to be. He's often at fault for the goals and is in no way leader at the back which is what is needed.

Spot on with the first paragraph.

I think we need a further clear out, contracts allowing, and new players signed.
Not sure how you can experiment with the likes of Martin who can only play one way, Vyner, O'Dowda and Simpson etc who are useless, and are Pring and DaSilva consistent Championship players ? - We can also add James, King and Williams dodgy fitness.
    It's a right mess.

Start with a new keeper, Kalas, Massengo, Scott, Semenyo, possibly Atkinson next season and hope Pearson can magic fit players to join in the summer.

Also add Baker to the dodgy fitness. I said at the start of the season it was a huge gamble to give him a contract. We only spent money on transfers and new wages in the summer on half a dozen players, most of which should be shown the door, or have barely played due to injuries.

Firstly Baker has proven his fitness over his historical hamstring injuries, 2 serious head injuries can barely fall into the category you mention in your post they are totally unforseen and I suspect if his recent head injury is so serious as to keep him out for over half of the season, his career may well be over any way. His signing on a 1 year contract on a lower wage was a good business, his being brave and taking 2 serious injuries to his head at least shows that he is committed, unlike some that could be mentioned.

Secondly we can both agree about 15k a week Simpson and maybe King, are you then saying Atkinson, Tanner, James should be moved on as well, if yes what about Williams? a player who has managed only 2 full 90 minutes of football since his arrival.

I agree with your assessment of Kalas for me he falls into the category of being overrated along with ODowda (who has also been a sicknote), Palmer, Wells and DaSilva (another sicknote). Don't get me wrong I love his commitment and bravery but for me often looks as though he is playing for himself and as you point is equally as culpable for defensive errors as anybody other than so far Klose and for very different reasons Vyner.

Sunday was proof if any were needed that some players have been given more than enough chances.

Kalas is as good as we're going to get.

    You try playing with clowns.
Whichever keeper we play is useless on crosses.
    Vyner's a nightmare.
Whoever plays full back is a novice.

He's an international for a reason.

An international who had a great Euro's but is still with BCFC, if he was so good he would be at least with a top 6 club or with a mid table prem club, as I have said before there must be a reason, either he is on such good money that he couldn't get anywhere else or the better clubs have spotted a flaw in his game.

On this point, I was responding to RPs comments on these players.

Maybe he's like Gary Cahill, looked outstanding alongside a dominant CB and leader in John Terry for Chelsea and England, yet when he was the senior CB he looked bang average?

OK your point about Baker is flawed IMHO.

I think RP is wrong about Pring, my only doubt him seemingly running out of steam on the hour mark in games presumably something to work on in the summer. As for James and Williams I think that is something that the medical team should decide, if their long term injury outlook is not good then yes move them on.

Hang on, I didn't say he was good enough for a top 6 Championship or mid table prem club.
I said Kalas is as good as we're going to get and he's playing with clowns. I believe the clowns are the reason for most of the criticism levelled at Kalas.

I remember Kalas and Webster playing together. They were as good as any central defenders in any Championship top 6 club or mid table Prem club.

    Just seen the goals.
1st and 2nd look very similar.
Vyner for the 1st and Pring for the 2nd.
They fell asleep on their back post.

we didnt really reduce the wage bill overall, in fact might be same or more! bearing in mind has brought in 4 players all used to around £15k +/- and 2 who may be looking at circa £10 - 15k between them! Plus CF [ had to pay off PS & KD ]
I would say our wage bill is similar to end of last season!
