I agree that the above approach would be a sign of a good manager.

However, a sign of a great manager would be to make those changes just before the poor performance or bad result to avoid it happening!

But there is no 'correct thing to do'. Its just opinions you are arguing about. Howe is of the opinion that you don't change a winning side. Fair enough - it may well backfire on him at some stage.

Also if he applies that logic what does he now do about central defence, assuming we don't have to move one the central defenders out wide? Both Lascelles and Burn are part of winning teams.

You need to see things going wrong in order to adjust. There's no issue in cm right now.

Bruno will get his chance and if it was 3 wins willock on the bench nobody would be bothered or wanting anything changed.

Howe would be wrong to drop any of the cms and I will not yield I this. You can have your opinion that's mine.

I don't want anything changed. I do think Howe has the right to change it if he wants to though, without being called wrong!

It's the importance of relationships and the message you send the group. All the players need to know that if they play well they'll be treated well.

Howe agrees with me at least<diva>

Generous score for Maxi - no way near as good as Wood who probably has a high mark as well. :bandit:

I agree he'd be my pick to drop, but he has been doing better. I think he had a good game a Leeds and yesterday.

There's no way Bruno won't get his start eventually.

The injuries to the full backs might require a compete reshuffle, so maybe at West ham.

    Two different things

Whether my opinion ( as I stated) is that it would be wrong doesn't mean as you said he doesn't have the right.

What I said was that he has the right to do so without being called wrong.

I don't particularly think he should change anything and would have no problem if he didn't. I don't think it's as simple as saying it would be wrong to do one or the other. He should just do what feels right to him.

I never told him anything.. I said that my opinion is that he'd be wrong to do that.

    Anyway get back on point.

The cms are playing well and deserve to keep their place. Bruno gamereas hasn't played in this league before, but sooner or later something will happen that provides him an opportunity.

The rotation situation would depend on fitness reports, other games that week or tactics.

Then you've got poor performance, attitude in training, suspensions, injuries and I'm sure other things that could give him his chance.

I don't care who plays if the sides winning and I've said that since Bruno signed. Howe's got it spot on and when Bruno time comes he'll give him his shot.

If Bruno played the last 2 and not willock I doubt anyone would be saying willock should get a chance.... Even if we'd lost.

Is the correct - and only - answer!

Howe's really, really got it together. To coach the Bruce out of these poor lads so fast, to show the Rafa-fanboys that it IS possible to attack well and defend well (take your short blanket and shove it up your fat spanish ass) and to read my posts on here, realise you need 3 in CM and be man enough to admit 'Roly's right' are all big ticks in my book.
