People just like Bruno and want to lick his arse, but if the sides winning he stays on the bench. That's how it should be.
No. We trust Eddie to pick the eleven players he thinks has the best chance of winning the game, no matter what happened in previous games. If he thinks a player needs to be rested then he rests them. That's how it should be.
You don't spend £40m on a player to leave him on the bench. I get what you're saying, but I think Bruno should at least be making appearances sooner in games than the last 5-10 mins. I'd say if we're losing at around 50-60 mins we should consider bringing him on vs West Ham. From what I've seen he offers a massive amount of quality. Defensively and offensively. Joelinton and Willock are grafters who are good on the ball and get us up the pitch, but neither really have much final 3rd quality, especially Joelinton who has a breakdown whenever he gets into the box. I do believe we'll be losing the next game at some point, and when we do, Bruno should get at least 20 minutes. Even if this formula is working, we should have ambition.
No because people are saying Bruno 'has' to start hence my comment. Bruno doesn't have to start and Howe actually doesn't have to rotate either btw. It's not mandatory. Nothing needs changing we've won 3 in a row for the 1st time in 4 years. Bruno can wait I don't care if he never plays
And I was just saying that he doesn't have to keep the same 11 just because we won. It isn't a golden rule he has to obey. He will pick a team he thinks has the best chance of getting a result without the constraint of thinking that Bruno has to start, or the constraint of thinking that the same 11 have to start.
We should probably start with the same 11 but gradually start to change it. Like give Bruno more time as a sub. It's right that he didn't start immediately, but he should be getting more time. There were times where ASM and Fraser were limping about in games and I think Bruno could have come on in their place.
The Man Utd's and Chelsea's do. Maybe our owners bought him just to make the statement that we are as big as them now. In the Summer we are going to buy Mbappe to play in the U23's.
If you changed ASM every time he started limping he would only play about 10minutes each game. First time he loses the ball and falls over he starts.
Whether you believe in it is irrelevant to what is the correct thing to do. There's no problem in cm and all 3 players deserve to keep their place ( remember I want shelvey dropped) If you drop players in form you send the group a bad message and it's not good for relationships between the manager and the players. He's clearly a loyal manager that cares about the group not just fan favourites. Bruno will get his opportunity just like everyone else.. One poor performance, one bad result, a knock, a poor fitness report, suspension or poor attitude in training will see him get it. There's just no rush and Howe clearly thinks things through.
