He did ok again and worked tirelessly. That shot was horrific though <laugh>

You need to watch him more mate, he is a proper bonus for the team. His workrate is outstanding. Honestly he presses like a demon. You could see him turning round today after him and Fraser pressed the **** out of them saying to Max “where the **** are you”. Won loads in the air too. Needs a goal but he’s doing a grand job as a team player. Hence results are good since his arrival. Massive part of the press. Good thing is Wilson brings that AND goals when he’s fit. He won’t recognise the side he comes back to.

I was worried for a bit. We'd been unsettled by the forced subs but it was very encouraging that they didn't just continue to retreat and you could see the intent was there to try and push the team up the pitch. Fraser has found his confidence again. He's quite good at covering his full back. I've seen him play for Bournemouth a fair few times as a wing back so he's capable.

Pleased for Burn too, that should be turn out to be a pretty good bit of business and Willock has been all over the pitch in this little run.

Running around to close down players and win the odd header is an absolute bear ****ing minimum. Pass selection, shooting, hold up play, movement on the attack - he’s really third rate in every area. Sure he’s better than a lazy kernt like Gayle but seriously man the fact he “works hard” for his £30k salary every week isn’t impressive.

Hopefully the other players can make up for his woeful attacking and he doesn’t cost us points in the run in.

I worry about your understanding of football at times <laugh> He’s no world beater, needs to find the net and improve certain aspects. But Stevie Wonder can see what he is adding to us at present. Put it this way, I consider Wilson a hard working striker. Wood outstrips him in this department. The impact on the team with the press we’ve introduced is huge. The team is what is important. We are winning games and out of the relegation zone. He has played his part and deserves a bit of credit. We will need better in the future but I’ll never crib a guy giving 110% who is affecting the game in a positive manner. I bet Fraser is loving having him up top.

I hate to say this but I actually thought Shelvey had a very good game.

Im sure I’m on my own mind but he did put a good shift in.

Shelveys legs are lasting longer than 50mins these days
sprinting back (I know) but keeping up with their attacker for 40yards near the end of the game was good to see

protective boot does not suggest broken foot

I'm sure Willock was wearing a protective boot in the early part of the season but played the next game

He was having injections and was **** for all that time.

When my ankle snapped I wore a boot. Then again the twats hasn't realised it had snapped and said it was ligament damage. Which to be fair it was, just a pity the ankle snapped and tore the deltoid ligament.

Aye he did ok for me. I still think he’s a charlatan of a footballer but he has over the last few games done plenty right.

So we think Trips had a foot break. I can’t believe that. He just went down in weird circumstances.

I reckon it’s more of a calf strain.

It must have been from the first half, if you watch from the kick off of the second half he is hobbling and no one touches him before he kicks it out.

They must have hoped it was something he could run off.
