I think Villa could benefit from Ings going on, with his ability to drop deep and play in others, such as Coutinho.

 

How is that only Shelvey's 5th yellow of the season? Feels like I've seen him get that many just in the past month.

Newcastle and Villa have both been terrible today!

 

There's a sub-paragraph, in very small print, in the FA rule book, that Shelvey only gets a card on every fifth offence. Otherwise refs would fill their notebooks too quickly, and they'd need to keep stopping to re-sharpen their pencils. A dodgy euphemism if there ever was.

 

My comment (in blue) referred to Spurs losing, and how sad that is, for everyone who may not appreciate Spurs' lack of contrition.

I cant stand 'em, but Wolverhampton are so competent. They go about their business with an almost an immoral lack of entrainment.

 

Gutted Newcastle won today. Good to see their overt display of cheating hasn't hurt them.
