I'd hoped the Leicester game was a bit of a watershed moment for us but as I said above, our mentality is still unbelievably fragile. One defeat against Chelsea and the wheels come off. It happens year after year, same story. No leaders out there. No one willing to take the game by the scruff of the neck.
Not getting anywhere with a midfield consisting of Winks he might aswell play for them Davies making mistake after mistake game after game Doherty just pisses me off…punchable face
This will be 3 or 4 nil. So so bad. There are no positives at all. I don’t even know where we go from here. At least it’s only city away this weekend
Since 2019, it's really not any better. Today's starting XI included 3 signings since 2019, 4 and 1/2 years after the "painful rebuild" comment.
Feel like we’ve gotten a little bit better but none of our forwards seem to be able to hit a barn door. Nothing about this game has been good enough
Wolves reckon that they've won it...and they're almost certainly right. Today just shows how bad our squad is. The management of it in the last 6 years has been criminal.
I’ve just left at 70 minutes which is shameful but with the missus missing our daughter (10 months old and only left her a couple of times), cheaped out on tickets to sit lower tier but ended up sitting in the rain next to the away fans, Hugo assisting strikers Willy nilly, hated the person I became watching that match but I’ve had enough, got tickets for a the arsenal game whenever that may be but had enough with this team, season over. Let’s see how the next manager does.
Well…… Can't blame N'dombele, Dele or Lo Celso anymore. If we don't get top four this season it may well mess up the next transfer window. Let's really see Conte earn his corn.
I left at 80 minutes as well. we aren’t going to score if we played until tomorrow. I hate being a bad fan but this team gives you nothing to cheer about. Even Kane was anonymous today
Very rare for me but I switched to the rugby and found that far more rewarding. I can't bear to see my team in such disarray. So glad I saw the good times!
Out played.... The better team won. Well played Wolves. Oh well !... steak and potatoes for tea... Cheers y'all.
While a few have pointed to Skippy being out as costing us going forward, I can't help feel Dier's absence is being overlooked With him out our moves out from the back do feel more stilted, and it's not helped by how we change the entire makeup of our back three to compensate, either having Sanchez in the centre in spite being arguably the worst passer of our CBs (and it's only arguable because Tanganga's been guilty of some real hospital balls of late) or putting Romero in the middle when his task is to take the ball forward meaning we're removing an option for moving the ball forward And why is this so aggravating? Because we've heard from Conte himself that he sees Rodon as Dier's understudy, so with Dier out it makes sense to have Rodon play in the middle of the back three in Dier's exact role - but he isn't, he's on the bench, so we're not only messing with our system unnecessarily but also not managing the squad particularly well Anyway, back to the latest bit of Dead Cells DLC, that will lead to a calming afternoon...
