They're supposed to put the flag up when it's obvious still. The first chance they had (Trent booted it wide) they had three offside, none were even close. Play went on for another 10-15 seconds, Trent bust a gut to get back too. Unnecessary injury risk.
They don't though. They let the active move complete. If a player stops and truns back or whatever its considered a new phase of play. You can run in and assault a keeper from an offside position and grt a free hit it seems. There's no point getting annoyed about it. If a lino fails to bother to flag and the opponent gets a corner than its an issue. And burnley did.
