Just go out to win every game and see what happens.

A dodgy penalty knocked us off our feet yesterday imo.

Our potential this season is dwindling away, if something drastic doesn't happen soon, our potential will start next season.

I was banking on us making ground on Wigan these last 3 games, that worked out well.

I think he has got a very difficult job on his hands.

The squad looks completely done. He has to somehow find a way of resting players while at same time getting enough results to get us into the playoffs

I'd imagine he's promised to do that and he's being paid enough.

I'm expecting a better performance on Saturday.

Yeah, saw the replay, and chatted with somebody who was there...
Also chatted with someone who watches a fair bit of our training... he has been saying for a while that our fitness was falling away.

Still not enough chances made In the game. Thank god for Pritchard's free kicks. Seb who?

Tbh I was not overfussed if Keane came or not. Lets hope the new guy gets us going...Wembley (fingers crossed).

Imagine if we do it this year at Wembley man. It would be absolutely crazy. As long as we have a mathematical possibility then I believe we can do it. This sport has thrown up stranger things than that in the past. We are in the fight. HTL.

We went to SJP on our knees ...

... won 3-0 and came away on cloud 9.

Exactly, I am picturing Tyson Fury on the canvas against Wilder and he got up and sparked him out. As long as we are in with a shout then we fight on. And if not, roll on next season and we will go again.

Excellant article in Roker Report comparing Neil with what could have been with Keane. Definitely, Neil is a far far better long-term solution for us than Keane would have been. Time will tell but I am confident ... but this is Sunderland after all.

Mistakes have been made, but as a club we are gradually improving, we were rudderless when KLD took us on, his critics imo. are not only unjustified but self defeating. OaU.

I do not disagree, but I would like the ownership and who advises/calls the shots etc to be cleared up once and for all.

Since to the best if my knowledge KLD has the majority shareholding but other part shareholders/directors have a "say" in some decisions?

To be honest I couldn’t give a toss who makes the decisions as long as they are the right ones.

  15. Minority shareholders, who are not on the Board of Directors, will not have any say in management decisions, unless the Chairman and majority shareholder asks them for some input.

    #115
  16. Spot on! The obsession some have with the club shareholding and the influencing of management decision making is completely needless and ultimately futile.
As long as we're making the right decisions, what difference does it really make to any of us.

Not being rude, in any way mate, but is that knowledge or just a hunch.

Unless the minority shareholders add up to more than 50% all they can have is an opinion, definitely not any say.

"There are those fans who will be happy, those who will be unhappy and those who will never be happy." Good that he gives most of the RTG members a shout. <laugh>

Seriously though, his after match interview said a lot about him. Sussed out immediately that some of the players have been flogged to death and need a break, while others need more game time to get up to speed. It's going to be a fine balancing act to get that right, particularly in the back four with so few players available.

Broadhead, Huggins and O'Nien can't get back soon enough for me and we have to start to play Arby at some point or there was no point in keeping him. Is Willis out for the full campaign? It seems ages since we've had an update.

Same here, but I personally don't believe the minority shareholders have anything but a verbal input - the choices and decisions are all down to KLD and his staff.

However it is an issue for a lot of fans and, along with the recent **** storm, it is detrimentally affecting relations between club and fans plus it is being amplified by a number of media outlets so it is in the best interests of the club to put this whole issue to bed once and for all.
