Then buy cheap on a third wages. Orta tells him what to do... Orta is just a chancer and his success rate is woeful.
Wakey talks an awful lot of sense. Even in pre-season, every team was all over us. YES, IT WS ONLY PRE-SEASON- but as I said at the time, it was only pre-season for them as well.
I’ve just read a short but interesting tweet that sums up a lot of this season for me in regards to Bielsa…. For a guy who spends so much time analysing players and games, why does he keep on making the same mistakes.
We need rads to sell up he can take us no further. Where would he get the money from?. 49ers will buy him out if we stay up. Bielsa ball is too predictable and will not progress this club.
Klich a prime example who we all know needs a week between games. I think Bielsa is Autistic /asberger minded. I bet when fergie was presented with stats he threw them in the bin. Just use your eyes and you can see a leggy tired player. Read the bielsa does not like the greedy modern players. Well excuse me mr but you take 6 million a season from Leeds utd. He really does talk sime shyte at times. Something we both have in common.
Cast your minds back to Fergie leaving Man U. It didn’t matter who took over, they were going to be in his shadow, they were going to be compared with Fergie and on a hiding to nothing. Win and they inherited the team, lose and they’re useless. With that in mind if Bielsa left and we were top 8 we’d be exactly the same with the new guy, you kind of have to get one out the way. It happens more often than not when a longer standing manager leaves. It would be much easier for a new guy to take over for 2022/23 if Bielsa was to leave than if it had happened 12 months earlier
That's only from a perspective point of view that some fans would use to judge any new manager/coach. The reality is it would be better to take over a top 6 side than a bottom six side any day of the week. Newcastle with all their billions could only get Eddie Howe, who didn't improve results until £100 million was spent on new players in January. Anyone wishing for a change at Elland Road should perhaps remember what happened when Heckingbottom inherited a half decent squad.
When I saw the result against Ajax in the summer my first thought was that we needed to strengthen. If a Dutch side no matter how good the coach is can roll us over what then what would Man City do to use and I was proven right when Arsenal and Man City rolled us over just before Xmas. Signing Dan James cos he was available due to Ronaldo going back to Old Trafford isn't strengthening it's having a glory **** as Bielsa wanted him for years. It's been well documented that any decent coach can pick apart Bielsa's tactics we've seen this with Bowyer when Charlton beat us during the promotion season. The fan base is now ripping itself apart as we've become to separate camps. Those who believe that he needs to go and those who would follow him to a non league at Ossett Utd.
Charlton 1 v 0 Leeds We got rolled over by Man City and Arsenal. Being beaten by the old goal wouldn't be so bad but losing to Man City by 7 goals was embarrassing and then to let 4 goals go past us against Arsenal is adding salt to the wound. That's 11 goals in 2 games. If this was any other team then the manager would be in serious risk of being sacked. Injury problems or not.
