Yep. I would see that as an absolute necessity. The state we are in lies at his door. The only mitigating factor could be what finances we had available. But it's hard to see that we are worse off than many clubs managing better. If he stays here, we stay where we are.
Nowt queerer thanks Safc fans I'm afraid, everyone that plays for us is ****e and those who don't are world beaters. That's what I've summarised any how.
Anyway, I’ve had my last pint, poured a glass of red and eating the leftovers . For what it’s worth…… I thought Doyle looked good and up for it. Cirkin and Neil very devoid of belief. Always turned in on themselves, never the quick pass and move or ball carrying they’re capable of. Winchester short of confidence, Pritchard has to play in the middle, not wide Roberts needs a lot of work/time. Machete is what we have needed for a long time, trying to tackle a player 20 yards inside the tunnel said everything, proper midfielder. my favourite part of the match, bar Pritchards curler. Defoe more chamois than whammy, not his fault. We need more players who can be brave on the ball and pass it quickly….to a team mate
I suppose we will find out sooner rather than later, a bit like when the new manager was appointed, fans were definitely the first to find out.
Not that long since he was being lauded for his transfer work during the summer. Let’s cut him some slack and see if he learns. If we see a repeat then he’s gone. When he arrived we had Parkinson and a lot of deadwood. Wish I knew the inside track in the Keane saga but I don’t think any of us ever will. No point in hanging the guy on speculation. Screwing up the defensive outgoings he can carry the can for but I really don’t think it’s a sacking offence. Not first time round anyways.
I think that's a fair comment. We seem to be short of a defender and it seems we tried to get one in but we've got 4 decent CBs and players like Winchester and Gooch who can fill in at LB/RB. We'll have O'Nien back soon and he can play virtually anywhere. Speakman and Dreyfus are both young for their roles and there will be mistakes made while they learn.
****ing idiots? Lads fans hoping we might finish top two, and you call them ****ing idiots. You are a ****house. You are one of the worst posters on here. Really disappointing the person who liked your post.
What the **** are you talking about? It’s all well and good having hope. It’s different believing something is possible, anyone with half a brain cell knew we were done going for automatic promotion after the last couple of weeks.
Re Defoe. He looked like he was towing a caravan running for the header back to the keeper! Honestly think broadhead would’ve easily got it.
You seem determined to cause arguments on here. I'd normally think people abusing other Sunderland supporters, on this forum, are pissed or having personal problems ... .... in your case it's too deliberate, one snide little dig after another. Like the Trai Hume post you just had to put up ... ... even though it was shyte.
That certainly isn’t the case. I just don’t see enough people being honest about the reality we’re in. I’m struggling to understand how anyone can suggest yesterday was a good point. I suppose you’ll always have people happy to linger in L1, which is a shame.
Massive difference between hope and expectation. I like to look and think there’s still a chance. As there is. It’s not done yet. It would take a lot of luck on our part but it’s not done. So I will keep hoping. That doesn’t make me an idiot. It makes me a hopeful fan. If you think I’m an idiot for it then you can **** off. And I’ve come to quite like you recently on here. But I’m not a “****ing idiot” for HOPING
Fair enough and good on you. Maybe I’m the idiot for caring so much, I wish I didn’t. The thought of remaining in this league hurts but everything is pointing to that.
