Good to see Nugent back on form - in his Preston days he was absolute class, hopefully he continues to shine and forms a lethal partnership with Jermaine Beckford, who hopefully gets back to form too. Darius Vassell and that youngster(Scruple or whatever) will provide decent cover/back-up too.

 

Europe League with in reach, not sure we will get there but would be delighted if we could. I want to win a trophy!! haha

Vassell is crap plain and simple. Hopefully the new manager gets rid of him as he was only playing because he was Svens favourite

Agree with this. Used to like him when he played for England, but is not a good player at all haha

 

He is class mate. Much better up grade on Nolan. Can pass, create, score and tackles very well too

Also if you need any wingers.. check our club.. Sammy Ameobi, Shane Ferguson and Kazenga LuaLua all skillful and very quick wingers who will sooner rather than later break into the side.

 

Never liked him, always thought he was a little ****, still remember him taking a dive in the box here for Villa when they were 2-0 up, about a minute before the Dyer and Bowyer incident. Also think he dived in the 03/04 season to get O'Brien sent off.

Fernandes, despite being best suited to playing the holding midfield role, has been played further forward whilst our creative midfielders play in his position. It's not helped him and he's been the model of inconsistency, he's pretty much exactly 50/50 between very good games and his poor ones. He's clearly quality when played to his strengths though.

Abe is also inocnsistent but has been ever since he's been here tbf, I'd only have him as a bench player myself.

 

Fernandes started like a house on fire but has been inconsistent recently. Abe gets too easily over rawed

Andy King has been awful for about 6 months so if you want to swap him for Guthrie go for it. Can you throw in a decent winger aswell
