I think he's done well so far. If we stay up he will have done a cracking job given the situation he was left with.
Hmmm I can sense being 0-2 at half time a loss and people saying that's it we're relegated at 4pm tomorrow. I can see it coming from a mile away this defeat.
Tough game tomorrow for sure. Villa will test any defence at the moment nevermind ours. But they look vulnerable too. I can see a high scoring draw which wouldn’t be a terrible result.
I can see us getting beat like. A win will show its not a fluke we're winning games though. Need to be on our game tomorrow uncluding support. Let's see where we're at.
I said it before the Everton game and I’m going to say it again even though it goes against my dna. Have faith. I think they and he has this. I honestly think they really have the real deal here. They have all our players playing 10-20% better.
Faith is the excuse people use for believing in something they don't have sufficient evidence for. Let's cut away all the mumbo jumbo and look at the situation. If we have no Trippier, can't play targett then the back 4 is the same crap that's got us in trouble If Bruno is on the bench which seems Likely then it's the same back 4 and the same midfield we had before January. I therefore urge a little caution mate...thats all
I appreciate your concern but you forget what momentum does. We are in a better place. Burn can come in at left back and Bruno didn’t play. So we performed well with a similar team. I think we will win.
I don’t know how you can tell - you spend most of the game in the toilets. Hopefully there is less **** in there as well now.
Regardless of the result today it wont prove we're fluking anything. We've signed new players and changed our formation, And also some players are coming into form like Willock. Lascelles has even played decent last two games. I believe it will be a draw personally. Villa look good going forward, but they've hardly been slaughtering teams. They couldn't even beat leeds. They've conceded quite a lot.
But we've finally shown we can see a game out with a narrow lead, by defending collectively and pressing higher. OK it might not have been pretty at times, but it's a huge step forward from.where we were a few weeks ago.
The 1st half was good, but the injuries to Manquillo and then Trippier were a killer for us. They did well to hold on.. I'm pleased for burn because the snobby fans were mocking him from the day he signed. He's a very good cb on that evidence and he isn't a pussy cat either.
