I don’t even check their score anymore and classing them as already promoted. We just need to win as many as possible and try to go into the playoffs on decent form.
Rotherham have been the best team in this league, started slow but have hit the accelerator just as we started having major blips.
Alex hit a few nails on the head there, and no bullshit either totally refreshing, lets build for the play-offs. get there and win it.
Fair play, mate. I'm not sure what positives you seen there because I didn't see any. We were outplayed and out battled from the very first minute. We never made their keeper work all game.
It's an away point. Pritchard was good plus a few others. The one thing we lack, more than anything else, is confidence. Even Defoe looked hesitant. We have to get the ball forward quicker against these defences. Those booing the team off, and having a go at people applauding, can f**k off.
Exactly. That's one of the reasons we changed the manager. No discipline or shape without the ball. That's not going to happen overnight. Not good today but signs of a different shape and I think the new manager will suss the players out pretty quickly.
Serious head on. Next seasons Leauge one will tough again, potentially Sunderland Ipswich Sheff Wed Bolton Portsmouth Charlton Also, Teams like Reading, Derby, Peterborough possibly and Barnsley in leauge one too. It's not a bad shout to suggest the top two will stay the top two and we'll probably manage to **** up the playoffs if we can make it to the playoffs. Things can change, but it looks like the Manager has a bit too much to do and the players look like half the players they were. Not moaning, just saying what I see. I noticed a tweet from that James Hunter posted on here about Neil's comments and I just scrolled straight past. That's where I'm at at the moment.
Positives are Hume, Matete look good, and Patterson was solid in goal. Negatives, we never looked like winning, didn't create any real chances, Stewart has looked knackered for well over a month, we lack width for a team of wide players and attacking full backs and Evans and Neil just haven't been good enough in midfield. I have confidence in the manager Neil though and next Saturdays game will be a better performance inhave no doubt
We are resurrected next week We will beat MK Dons Neil would have had a full week with the players And we will win against one of our rivals All of a sudden everyone will turn positive! Well maybe everyone!
I'll be honest, I'm beginning to feel like writing this season off. Obviously our hope is to hit some form and stay in the play-off spots and pray we can get out of this league. If not Neil has 14 games to suss this squad out for next season, I'm not usually defeatist but I can't see us doing it this year, but who knows?
