not sure what others were expecting but i figured this was too soon to see any real changes from AN, we looked ok at odd times, let ourselves down in the final third mainly.

never a penalty mind but then half the fouls the ref got wrong plus a few of the yellows and how the hell did they get away with using stewarts shoulders to get above him or nudging him out of the way every single time the ball went near him.

AN now has to work with the lads and try to lift the mood.

positives from hume, matete and clarke, still think dan neil and doyle need a break and wright looked composed...final word to patterson, he could easily have been caught out with a couple of those corners.

To make the play offs these games you have to win
However a slightly better performance but not anywhere near our best
    Must get better

1 shot on target which was our goal

Meaning 0 shots on target from open play.

Neil has a big big job.

    Well that was absolute garbage!
My old man summed it up when he said it was like watching the colliery welfare team.
Team of huffers and puffers with zero passing ability and very little skill.
One of the worst performances of the entire season :emoticon-0132-envy:

they stopped him playing, basically...this is what he needs to learn now, how to avoid letting himself get 'pinned' or pushed, refs rarely give fouls for it...he should watch a few SNQ videos.

We’d of lost that if Neil didn’t have half a day with the squad, positive with a wk of training we will take off.

Win the next 2 and while not being a good result its not terrible. Anything less than 2 wins from the next 2 tho its an awful result. The other teams around us didn't win so a win would have been massive but ultimately we haven't lost any ground.

I know Wigan won but seriously we ain't getting anywhere near them.

I’m going to guess, players came over, people told them to **** off, players didn’t like it and gave it back.

I mean it’s an improvement in terms of pints from our last few games but ****ing hell that was a shocking game of football. We appear to have lost the ability to string more than 2 passes together.

this team looks like they are total ****ing strangers

hopefully Neill can get some good time with them to look to bring this squad back together.

13 yellow cards - that must be the worst ref this season.

Not great but will give Neil the benefit of the doubt on that one with only one day in charge.
He has a plan now needs to get the players up to speed.
They should have had enough to beat Wimbledon even without a manager but one or two aren't up to it
Think he will work them out pretty quickly.

Matete will be an excellent signing as will Clarke.
Winchester cant do that defensive midfield role.
Neil frustrates exceptional talent but hides too much.
Work needed on the defense especially if we are playing a 4
Need a plan to get more support up front.
    Worried where Defoe fits in

Next week at home will be the first proper test after a week in charge.
Special mention for the Ref. In a league of clueless referees you managed to stand out. Dreadful.
Barely a bad tackle yet 14 bookings and a sending off. in the last 20 mins virtually every tackle resulted in a booking

    We move on KTF
