You can’t fault the players for effort.
    Conditions also helped us.
Forss should have scored I think we may end up saying that a lot.
Fulham are the best team in the league by a mile so no harm done.

When your team gets a free kick and it's passed backwards you know there's a problem somewhere. Tippy, tappy, crappy, multi-midfield passes get you nowhere.

Another day Forss scores that chance and Longman taps in that rebound. We cancelled them out very well today, beaten by a £30m player as that wasn't an easy chance. They have players that don't even make the bench that start for us.

Do get some absolute nonsense on Twitter - someone complaining that dropped Allayhar and Eaves. There were some midweek wondering why had dropped Baxter.

Better than the Derby game by far but we just lack bite. Fulham are a very good team and very hard to break down so not too disappointed. I’m not too concerned yet but we do need to start scoring more and picking up points or that cushion will get smaller.

Lets just be thankful that all those below us continue to match our recent losses.

I still think when we’re going forward, there’s too much space between the attacking players!
Lots of long balls for Forss & KLP to run onto, but the defence had them pretty much covered.

I’d say at the moment we’re a top league one side, most of this lot would struggle to break into any meaningful Championship squads.

Spot on, a very good league 1 side with a few good championship players. Honeyman, McLoughlin, Greaves, KLP. The rest have their games they stand out but are mainly just competing and giving their all

So just home.from work, how did we do ? On the face of it a 1-0 loss in the general scheme of things suggests we held our own or is that misleading ? Got to say having been the last couple of games really missed going today despite the sh1tty weather, did we deserve more from the game ? Did the change in formation work ?

Point would have been fair. Formation worked looked solid at the back and occasionally dangerous on the break but we don’t have the midfield quality to do both defending and playing them balls that’ll hurt teams on the counter. Took a very good finish to beat us. Forss should’ve had 1, Longman unlucky not to have a tap in. Difference in quality today was the only thing between us not formation effort tactics or anything. 99% will be pleased, 1% who aren’t have no clue about football

Very good performance. Smallwood and Slater really beefed up the midfield. Can’t complain about the result and could have easily got the draw. Coyle is far too slow and too easily beaten though.

I see Eaves and Allahyar weren't in the squad ? Are they injured ?

This is exactly it. Blackpool seem to be doing okay despite the lack of Championship-quality players though. I don’t think it will last for them though.

I think we have enough to stay up this year. Through sheer determination and grit we’ll get enough points to stay up. But if Acun is serious about promotion in the not-so-distant future, we need players of a higher standard than we have now to be competitive.

They are by far the best team in this league , can anybody say that any one of our players
would get in their team ?
At least we showed some fight today , I was expecting a bit of a hammering before the game

Really good comment... today we had a solid defensive midfield but not an offensive one... that was the difference...

We gave a decent account of ourselves against the league leaders, but I don’t think we deserved anything more than what we got. A couple of half-decent chances but once they scored, there was only going to be one winner. They managed the game really well.
