2-0 to everton thus far. Vital relegation 6 pointer this. Leeds don't give up but it's a vital 3 points for lampard fc Big big pressure on norwich v city as the gap to the non mega rich relegation rivals is growing. Brighton winning as well keeps them firmly top half if they see it through.
No it was a genuine question lol Should have known better on here I thought they had decided this comp was running in December ?
The competition was due to take place last December but it had to be pushed back to early 2022. That was due to Covid concerns with original host nation of Japan. The tournament will now run from Thursday, February 3 until the final on Saturday, February 12.
So is the world club dohickey a thing now cos Chelsea won it? Just asking cos it clearly wasn't when we did.
Imho yes it is But think we have covered this lol Jealous as that Chelsea have won it Qualification for it is CL winners - so for me It’s a major honour but…… lol there are loads who do not feel this way
I dont think I've seen a great deal of coverage for it to be honest, even less than we were in it. It's a huge deal for the South Americans, but I don't think it's huge even for the other European clubs. There may be a few articles now they've won it, but i wouldn't say its gone overboard.
It's 10mil quid for playing a game. It's ridiculous that teams are expected to travel to Japan for two games and always was. Imo its not yet what fifa want and it'll only get worse so having a trophy on the wall is nice. The issue for me is all (end of story) of the big global teams are in Europe so uefa don't want them playing for fifa and if you don't have more European teams in this supposed expanded format the It's still **** teams from Asia and Africa etc annoying the South American and European team who just want to play the final and get paid. The South Americans would love 10mil prize. Chelsea won't even notice 10mil
