Missed some real opportunities at the end of the half. Poor finishing from us. Definitely not good enough. Time for a dollop of MW magic at HT.
Not a bad performance but again we find ourselves totally unable to move fast enough to break a team down. All of our players seemingly under instructions not to take too many chances and to play it safely backwards most of the time. And yet we have two strikers on, when this match is to be won or lost in midfield.
Yep. A a very haphazard first half. We had some chances but our finishing was woeful. Barnsley looked suspect under pressure, but we did not apply enough in the first half. Hopefully we will “up it” in the 2nd half. But to do so, we need more presence in midfield.
Apart from 5 or 6 minutes here and there, that was another dire half of football by us imo. Let's hope we do the old '2nd-half shuffle'. We really need to get our MOJO back! Thanks to Steels for the stream
Barnsley commentators really happy with that half, saying we are a good team and they are giving us problems. Aaah, bless. Just need the one for the floodgates to open. Gray invisible in the first half, still not sure what Hendrick brings to the team, but we were doing much better last five minutes.
Hoping for some big things in yhe second half - Warbles to weave his magic and us to come storming out and put this game to bed. We need to stop letting them get their shots away - just takes a dodgy deflection and one of these wayward shots flies in
Very even half, not a lot from either team. Hard to see that we are 4th and them bottom. I guess we are missing Willock, Stefan, Albert and maybe Austin.
Yep bloody poor again, all seems so slow and predictable. We really needed to get another attacking midfielder who gets in the box and scores. Willock being badly missed, get Amos and Adomah on for this half and attack them with speed ! This is a must win especially with Bournemouth losing. Come on ffs
