I just want to point out, we were offered Van De Beek but Bielsa said no. I’m not sure which midfielder is better than him or why Forshaw is still on the bench
Roberts will come on to save the day second half. I bet Villa fans are looking at this and thinking how the **** did we drop two points against that shower
Players can't pass the ball, players can't control the ball, players can't cross the ball, players can't track the runners. Genuinely perplexed how hit and miss the players are. The longer the season goes on, the more it's clear we need a turn around of players at this club. It's happening far too regularly to be acceptable. I can understand injuries, I can understand players being out of form but I can't understand it happening more and more regularly as we move forward. Things need changing.
We're not performing too badly per se - it's more that they're on their A game & we're not. Yet. Remember, even being second at the races here, we could have had Rodrigo score 2. Mere inches out. Second half, they will tire. No doubt about that. They're not Leeds. In order to get up to this tempo, FF must have been training them like mad. Last 20 mins should be ours at the very least. Is it just me, or should Everton have had a few bookings by now? Ref seems to have given them carte blanche to injure us, but apparently we're obliged to observe Everton player exclusion zones as far as he's concerned. Sneeze near one & it's a yellow! Leeds, Leeds, Leeds! EDIT: Just seen the chart. They're only down for 2 fouls? If the ref had been watching properly, it would be well into double figures, plus they would have had several yellows from a proper ref. (Is that a thing?).
Absolute shocking 1st half yet we still hit the crossbar twice. We are getting hammered but lady luck never shines on us we never getting any breaks. Never the less that was fecking awful
The only upside is the stream keeps freezing so I have missed parts of the first half. I think I am more frustrated/angry now than I have been since Bielsa took over. To be clear, it's not necessarily Bielsa, it's the players. They have too many days where they can't pass a ball 5 yards or do any of the basics. Out of today's starting team I reckon you can rely on Meslier and Struijk to turn in 7/10 performances most weeks. The rest as far as I'm concerned need to find consistency or **** off. Too many players this season where I start watching hoping they play well rather than expecting them to. They've pushed me to far with that first half performance. I've seen enough this season. You can't just turn up one in five games at this level and it seems that's exactly what our squad is made up of.
