Yeah, you’re right. Main reason I didn’t get a membership in the summer was I didn’t want the financial commitment at the time and couldn’t afford it. Started a new job in September and now I can afford it but membership would be cheaper.
Yeah, it wasn’t meant as a criticism for not getting one, it’s just if you can commit it seems pretty good value. Glad you’re back anyway
Gates are still embarrassing and confirm our real status. Far too many waiting for success again. IN ACUN WE TRUST.
Thanks, mate. After lockdown last season, I was just happy to watch football in the ground again so I got tickets for the game against Sheffield Utd in September. I still get where the likes of Kempton were coming from though and respect their decision to stay away until the Allams were officially gone.
Wouldn't have had much chance today if Shota had picked the team a lot of posters chose. No goalkeeper against the top scorers...
I listened to Conor Coady of Wolves on 5 live, and he said that the new manager after Nuno was clever, he didn't change the system and the team, just gradually made some small adjustments within that system. Shota needs to do the same IMO, keep playing 352, and as close to the team that started at Swansea.
Probably, but I still feel it would be the right thing to do. We looked totally disjointed Tuesday, the players just looked uncomfortable with what they were doing. T
100% agree, I guess they should technically be comfortable in both but playing it against a team who has scored the same amount of goals we have all season in their last 6 games seems a daft starting point. Too many passengers in key areas of the 352 and they only get more exposed in 433
The opposition view. "Not too much on their board and none of it controversial. They seem a pretty sensible bunch." https://www.friendsoffulham.com/for...bd4a91b87197012c95e089d4a6d87a5&topic=85100.0
I feel like this game either has us getting a great win after a backs-to-the-wall performance, like we did against Bournemouth, or we’ll be on the receiving end of a tonking. Fulham have scored 7 in one game twice this season and both were away from home. They score goals for fun and can embarrass anyone in this division on their day.
To be honest, Fulham are the only team in the division this season who could whup us good and proper and I wouldn’t be too depressed or pessimistic. It’s always embarrassing to concede more than 5 goals in a game, especially at home, but Fulham are like the Man City of the Championship this year. They’re one of those teams who in recent years are too good for the Championship but perhaps not good enough for the Prem, a bit like Norwich.
