Plus they have JWP who will carry the whole team around the pitch on his back if necessary.

Arrived in Manchester. Not going to lie, that's possibly the most stressful journey I've ever had.

A bad accident on the motorway ended up extending our trip by an hour and a half which meant I wasn't in the best of moods getting in to Manchester.

Coupled with the fact that I naively trusted Mrs Lincoln to programme the sat nav while I picked up the lad from school for the jolly boys outing. Now, either out of spite (of our weekend away) or sheer incompetence, Mrs L managed to programme it for the city centre. I reckon I've easily racked up 3 or 4 tickets for driving in bus lanes and we nearly hit a tram. Turns out the hotel I actually booked is closer to the motorway!

It can only get better tomorrow. COYR.

Don't like this feeling of confidence I've got for this one. It's very unnerving.

    1-1 or 4-2

There is only room for one Ralph in the premier league, so come on Mr H, pile more misery on the overpaid underperforming darlings.

There are only 2 teams that Ralph has not beaten in the premier league, Man Utd being one of them.

Would be a great time to end that 'jinx'.

    Let's ****ing smash em<cheers>

Went to a game at City with an experienced but older driver...so no Satnav. Once you get a few miles north of the South Coast there are very useful signs saying The North (There be Dragons...though I might have imagined that :)) ....you follow these until you see a sign to a City you fancy. However, no signs in reverse when returning. We circled Manchester and found the right route by a process of elimination...all signs pointed to towns that we as Southerners had never heard of. Would it have hurt to have a sign to the South (the promised land in brackets)?

Lawrenson's review of today's match. What I would like to know is who the hell they're playing:

"United are still very up and down during games and we saw again in their draw against Burnley that they don't seem able to play well for 90 minutes - they only seem to manage it for one half at the moment.

I do think they were unlucky not to beat the Clarets, though. It's not even the case they are not taking their chances because they did that at Turf Moor, but VAR ruled two of their goals out.

The bigger issue is I am still waiting to see a performance from them under Ralf Rangnick that tells me they are on their way, or up and running, under him.

They need one of those soon so he can point to it as an example of the levels they need to be at every time, but obviously he would settle for a win this weekend however it comes."
