Whos the manager like? The club havent told us yet although there was a famous Scots manager took our training session today and has been seen in training gear. The club hasnt said a thing to us though, so for all we know Samson is in charge tomorrow
Of course, it's our club and anything less than total support is just hurting ourselves. I've cheered Gareth Hall, Chopra and Barry Dunn ... ... tomorrow will be a piece of cake
Not really. How do we know it's signed. And a lot of fans don't look on social. They wait for the local news, nowt. For all we know, this could fall through as well. Im so defensive about all things Sunderland but this blackout is disgraceful
I dont agree mate. To allow a new manager to take his first training session and to jump on a train in full SAFC gear and not even communicate with us is hugely undermining and disrespectful to us fans that still turn up (38k last week), with very little in return.
So we've had a meltdown over a false claim of a 3 month contract, and now we're having a meltdown over the announcement? Some of you ****ers really need to get a grip. What happens on the pitch is what counts, not Twitter, Facebook, safc.com or what some bloke on RTG says. Edit; I thought this place had a bit of common sense, appears I was wrong.
The things I've taken from the Preston and Norwich forums... He gets off to a good start and his teams so really well straight away. His players will run through walls for him. He likes to play a front 3 and a high press. He's good at developing young players. He's a stubborn bastard when it comes to changing formation. He worries more about the opposition tactics than his own teams.
We all know ffs, do people want a personal visit from the owner. The club know that we all know and so does our new manager ... ... let's just get on with supporting the team even if we have doubts about the club.
