    As we know United will go 4-2-2-2, lets over run them in midfield like teams do to us, generally in the second half and bearing in mind our plays may be knackered after this weeks fabulous effort, it means less running so 3-5-2 for me

    I came into these two away games hoping for one point. So to already have more than that means that I see tomorrow as a total free hit.

    That said, I did think tomorrow might be the marginally "easier" of the two. So...

    I basically thought exactly the same. On paper I don’t see how their midfield can live with ours. But they also have attackers that, if they fire, can turn a game they should lose or draw into a win

    I'm getting the uneasy feeling that our normally level-headed, realistic (pessimistic?) fans are starting to believe that we might actually get something out of this match. I'm a glass half-full fan, always believing that we will win, but if everyone else has arrived at the same level of (usually misplaced) confidence, this can only go one way: UP. (With or without the 'tits' prefix)

    What we need is a dose of Magic/Lincoln realism. Unless they've also started to think we might get something, in which case there is no hope for us.

    Man Utd are only as high as they are in the table for this very reason. They've managed to get quite a few draws and wins even having played ****e.

    Had a similar thought this morning but looking at the run of Man City(H), Spurs(A), United(A).

    Realistically, 1 point out of those 3 fixtures is a decent return. City is always a right off and the other 2 away are tough too. To have 4 points on the board already is incredible, a point or 3 tomorrow would be exceptional. Especially so when looking at our run after these 3 tough games:

    Everton
    Norwich
    Villa
    Watford
    Burnley
    Leeds

    An American, talking on Sky this morning, said that we are a well organised, well run team with good players and never looked over run by any team. Don't know who he is or why they asked him, but I liked him. :)
