Can they get free tickets to the current inquest into Jackos death? They are bound to show some footage and his family are always there. It would be just like the gigs but without having to queue for ages to get the tube home.

For me it would have to be Elvis Presley... but i have seen many in my time including UB40 3 times who were v good , it is ironic that they're bankrupt. There first album was called Signing Off so there last should be .......

    Thoughts on Tin Machine?

I personally liked them but remember a lot of Bowie Stalwarts, which I couldn't say I was, not being into .

Let's please be honest about Bowie.
He was fantastic in the 70's, no question.
But **** me, the last 30 years have been a complete borefest from him and now he is a pretentious arty ****.
It's hard to believe the man we see today with the personality of a doorstop was the same man who gave us monumental albums like Hunky Dory and Low.

Dave should have done the decent thing and died from a huge drug overdose at the end of the 70's and kept the legend alive instead of spoiling things with the dross he has inflicted on us since.

Paul McCartney should have killed himself while claiming his undying love for Lennon.
All he is now is a **** <ok>

I'll second that. He's another one who shouldn't have made it out of the 70's alive.

I've been to the punk festival in Blackpool every year for years but had to give this year a miss. Missed Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine, still never seen Jello play live.
