I took time out to chat to some protesters outside Burger King in Leicester Square splattered in fake blood showing abattoir videos of cows getting killed.

They openly said that farm animals should be made extinct and it's selfish to have children.

I asked who would pay to keep cows chickens and pigs if farmers aren't allowed to use their milk eggs and meat .

The response was let them die out , presumably with the human race too.

I've done similar with extinction rebellion, asking them questions to clarify their aims, and how they saw it playing out. I ignored some of the 'facts' they quoted that I 100% knew were bullshit, but they got angry when they realised that their final version was pretty much how we lived in the middle ages, when lifestyles were poor and life expectancy low, and they still had big extremes of weather, that were often fatal due to the lack of protection fossil fuel technology has provided.

 

That’s why people with extreme points of view are dangerous. Extremists!

They distort facts and ignore logic.

They have a blinkered view of the world .

 

We have it too good and most of us don't know what hardship is .

Give it 3 days with empty shelves in Waitrose and these entitled vegans would be fighting over a bacon sandwich.
