I'm struggling to see Methven having a meaningful input into this process.

 

I would just say I will definitely move and then just not bother, done that myself.

I don't think he has either. He's just a hanger on now. He can turn up at stuff and enjoy the hospitality side of things, which is why we keep seeing him, but he's a non-entity in the grand scheme of things. He just a bit of bogeyman that people can point at and say "its his fault" when things don't seem to be going right.

 

Whatever happens tomorrow give the man a chance.

 

Any news on when an announcement will be made....

I found if you are doing a great job nobody cares where the hell you live.

 

Surely it has to be announced today?

Tomorrow in the stands, but would like to see him in the dug out despite not having anything to do with prep for the game.

The big test is next Saturday, at home after a week with them. If he can get them working for each other and stop the hiding we have seen in recent games that would be a huge plus

 

Today has to be the day. Alex Neil, Grant McCann or Samson the ****ing Cat we just need someone in charge for tomorrows game.

I think unfortunately he’ll have very little affect on 2moro’s game given he’s not been announced yet but I hope he’s still in the dugout which might just help us on the way

 

I’m hoping he’s taking the training session today and will be announced after. Can still take the session if he’s got the job even if the club haven’t told “anyone”

 

I’m sorry, but literally nothing excites me about this appointment We will be back to square one within six months.

 

We can but wait and see, only clocky can tell us that and he’s keeping schtum.

Its been nearly 24 hours since they turned attention to Neil so it's possible we get full scarf pics etc, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a brief announcement this morning with full videos, press etc next week

 

@wilberforce sorry, I didn't realise you were on here. Didn't mean to speak about you like you weren't there!

 

I also think the most tragic thing in this whole episode is Neil could have been in and taking 2 days training before the Doncaster game, we'll never know but I've got a funny feeling we would be 6 points better off, these clowns could have derailed our whole season with their incompetence
