"Bill Kenwright, the Everton chairman, led negotiations with the Scottish champions and, while the fee is officially undisclosed, it is understood to be about £11 million inclusive of add-ons."

Do you honestly believe the sevco high command got 12m up front in the window and didnt spend a few hundred k on Souttar? dont be absurd, they got 7m tops and its not really up front in a wunner

Frimpong was established for a club who have an exceptional track record of producing top players and went for 11m + add ons, Patterson has went for significantly less because Sevco have no track record.

7m for a 20yo international is a steal in this day and age and will likely prove to be good value in the long run if he makes natural progression over next few years, I still think Sevco could have got 20m+ if they played him for a couple of years. Tierney went for 25m + add ons at 22.

Patterson was the only option they had to sell as no offers for anyone else, and they did it because short term he wasnt a first choice due to the Journeyman Taverniers set pieces. It was a poor decision long term.
Are they still obsessing about Paterson?

Everton insiders saying £8m fee and it only took so long to agree (interest since summer) because Huns wanted £6m up front.

The fantasy £16m looks sourced from Forbes Magazine.

Published as $16m but why let that spoil a good story

apparently Juve are actually paying Sevco to take Ramsey, so they spent nothing which isnt like them when they are skint, never mind when they have 16 bulyin

loaned an african child and threw him to the lions, career ending stuff

loaned Ramsey, career ended 2 years ago
But but but, Celic made 28 Million in summer signings and only have to fork out 6.5 to get George Michealangelo on a permanent deal!

Didne happen though, won't happen though. The dough is earmarked for other things.

Celtic have more loan players than Rangers. Does that make them skinter?
