Yes understood but the tactical/injury sub is what I mean.

Just to politely intrude don't forget the great Halle Orchestra, ok not in the same vein as those mentioned but a lot longer as a major musical item in Manchester.

No reason why we can't go and win this. Play like we did last night and we really should. An early Saints goal would be interesting. Could we see United capitulate as Saints go for the jugular?! I predict another 3-2 victory for Saints....or 9 nil United (blue font)

The Christie<applause><applause><applause><applause><applause> A fantastic facility and the nicest staff I have ever encountered. I will never forget the humanity and dignity the staff showed there in tough circumstances.

I've heard that Man Utd will be wearing their 'retro' grey shirts, as they have found a large stash of them at the back of their shop

I'm rather worried, as I've got this feeling of confidence, based entirely on our showing against Spurs. How can I shake this off? I've tried watching clips of past performances, but all I could find was a grainy video of May 1st 1976.

Hitting a crossbar or upright is a Saints skill

The second part of this week's 2 match series "Which PL club has the most nauseating fans"?

I'm going for this lot (Man U).
Spurs fans are full of arrogant geezers who think they are something but have won no more in the last 15yrs than the clubs they look down on.
But Man U fans are something else. Overloaded by non Mancunians who feel they have to prove how "huge" a fan they are by being bigger twats than the locals.

I’m looking forward to seeing Theo & Shane play for the last few mins; if you know what I mean.

Just ring up Man U and BT, and get them to hold the match until you can make it. Seems to work for Newcastle...

There are indeed a huge number of total knobheads among their support. However, when travelling to the League Cup Final in '17 I was in a carriage with a group of United fans who shocked me by a) being from Manchester and b) talking sensibly about football to the point of knowing the names and strengths of our players. They do exist and are at their matches. The ones that get me are the Southern twats who are telly fans. The night we got promoted to the PL I was in a Tesco stocking up - or was it replenishing (can't recall if I had a suitcase) - in Chandlers Ford. Some bloke was getting into a car adorned with United stickers. I told him I was a poor lost northerner needing to get back to Manchester the next morning and asked his advice on the best route. Needless to say he had never been!

Any Totton locals happen to know if this match is being shown in any friendly pubs in the area please? Didn't realise it was an early kick off and I will be over that way.

BT's website may have "pub finder" link which will show any pubs that have BT Sport in a certain area. Not 100% sure but worth a look.

ah, Pelle, nobody could hit the woodwork quite like him. Was it 12 times in a season?
