We all probably have different views on who or what constitutes a legend.

Where did I allude to you thinking he'd achieved legendary status? Even you can't be that daft. Then again .....

 

none are legends.... only those that attain that in my eyes are those that get statues/naming that is true legend status....the three mentioned are players who played for the club and that's it, if you go off polls, discussions etc i have no doubt people's opinion would vary even on the three mentioned....as i said with mr entwhistle i have no doubt he was proud to pull on the shirt for leeds but i would seriously doubt he would consider himself a legend just because he contributed in some way to the history of the whites........as i said followed this team up and down, planes,trains and automobiles but i'd certainly put heidi as a legend wayyyyyyyy before me as she is still stumping up money to this day week in week out, my wallet closed over a decade ago as far as attending so i am left with my stone as a remembrance on the square of a proper legend

Well it's true, isn't it?

He's certainly some way up the Losers / Legend scale, but well, well short atm.

 

Question: there's no doubt that we've put together legendary teams before, but does that guarantee legendary status for any player involved in the teams?

To crystallise the question, I believe that our last promotion team qualifies as a legend. No way were all of the players legends. Think of Roberts as an example.
