Yeah not a chance only way Keane speaks to them again is if Speakman is binned off!

Is us chasing Roy Keane to just appoint Alex Neil, the new chasing Derek McInnes all summer, to just say it's Grayson?

KLD is an incredibly wealthy young man who could currently be on a fabulous yacht in the Bahamas.

Instead he's at shyteholes like Wycombe and Wimbledon desperately trying to jump start this club.

He wants SAFC to succeed just as much as we do.

If football was easy Newcastle would've won something in the entire second half of their existence ...

... instead they've spent endless millions getting absolutely nowhere.

KLD has been here five minutes.

We might as well have just hired Neil the day after Brent went on an interim basis instead of waiting 11 days to appoint him for 3 months.

    Absolute morons this lot.

I fear this may be an anti-climax equal to the appointment of Alan Brown for the second time. Then the disappointment was palpable. Expectations went as flat as a burst balloon. But we got over it, got behind the team, and suffered dire performances which very nearly relegated us. But, never say die. The situation had a brilliant outcome when Brown was replaced with Stokoe, so you never know what is around the corner. Mind you, this being Sunderland it’s probably a lorry load of ****.

I actually admire your constant ability to be upbeat Smug. Everything happens for a reason and who knows...it might all work out well.

Things is mate, I just know what the reaction will be if we go to a daft little ground on Saturday and spank them ...

... there'll be grown men on the pitch and hugging strangers on the terraces <laugh>

At the end of the day we're not Bury and we're not owned by people who mutilate petty thieves and torture men who like holding hands.

Yes he's a young chairman very young in all honesty. I do share you opinion that he wants to be successful I just think he has surrounded himself with incompetent people. Probably because he is young and naive and maybe hasn't found his ruthless streak. The fact Donald and Methven are still hanging around when as you say he has more than enough money to buy them out to me suggests this. Il be honest I know nothing about Speakman or what he has done in the past but our history with directors of football or whatever they are called is very poor. I'm thinking De Fanti and Martin Bain here. Not even sure if that was Bains title but you can see where I'm coming from.

I'm not going to lie I was ****ing buzzing when I thought Keane was coming back as personally I think he is exacttly what we need right now as he was in 2007. I kind of made my peace with the last 2 results by clinging on to Keane coming in and sorting us out. I realise I'm painting him as a messiah which he may well have not turned out to be. Also maybe I'm lashing out unfairly as I am certainly not privy to the internal goings on at the club but I and many others feel flat as a fart about this and feel the need to blame someone.

Honestly can't ever recall you ever being downbeat. Yet you don't come across as a happy clapper. Exciting times ahead and for all we know Neil could end up being a fantastic appointment!
    Ha'way the lads!
