I'd play 2 holding now that I think about it against Fulham then just have pace on the counter. Baxter Bernard Maka GreavesKLP Slater Smallwood Fleming Honeyman Allahyar Eaves Maybe even give Honeyman a rest and play a front 3, considering the opposition it's not a bad shout I don't think..
We need to get 2 strikers playing together, McCann had us all over the place, but funny how, when 2 players were close, we managed to score & win games, despite being overrun in midfield in a lot of games.
When your job involves saving footballs at 70mph with your hands every day, probably a good idea to have two fully functioning ones otherwise it might impact your performance.
Glad you clarfied because just heard Shota's interview and had no idea what the issue was. Big loss I think at the moment.
I think it may have been a speech issue on Shota’s behalf in a vague sense, he said “he is not well” which to us means ill but to him may have meant injured. I was told it’s his hand by one of my good friends in the club.
I'm a bit concerned that he hasn't been selected by any of the 606 coaches...He's only been here a couple of weeks and by the sounds of it he's a 'spent-forss' already!! Worrying.
Too many changes for lads coming back without match sharpness combined with a couple of lads who don't know their role in this team yet. I think some of that was to rest players for the schedule, but it's worrying that no-one doubled up with Fleming when he was having a torrid time down the left. That was obvious. Shota needs his mate in and to get up to speed fast.
