Moyes was wrong to play him when this came out.
If he treats animals like that, I don't think his family want to be around him either.
But he's only been fined 2 weeks wages (coming to approx. £250,000) and I dare say he won't go hungry, even though Adidas have stopped their personal sponsorship of him.
West Ham have also now lost Vitality as a club sponsor, so hopefully will be able to sack him now.
It's the very least he deserves.
    Nothing but scum.

I noticed that Dagenham and Redbridge have suspended this idiot's brother who took the video. Three cheers for their response and it just goes to show how much these overpaid jerks don't give a rat's arse for common sense and non-violence. Look at the background damage caused by these kind of actions including losing sponsorship and becoming social pariahs for allowing scum players to be part of their organization.

When I look at all of the nonsense surrounding players including ex-rapists being hired and others with serious social disorders being part of a team it makes me wonder why there isn't a clause inserted in all player contracts that would cancel the deal should the player in question violate a strict code of conduct. That is what the real world throws at employees who break the code of conduct expected from them during their employment.

This is a little off the thread but there will be many truckers losing their jobs here in Canada because their employers who have seen their logos doing the rounds of the ongoing protests will be dumping the offenders due to bringing the name of their company into disrepute. Most of them are under contract to supply services to these companies but so far a lot of those contracts have already been cancelled. We need that kind of backlash from clubs to rid themselves of the scum that pervades the game of football. Rant over.

P.S. Sorry not quite over but I will leave Chinese ownership for another time.

    He is a vile coward.

The woman seen punching and kicking her horse who wouldn't go into it's horsebox, was sacked from her job as a teacher.

I read yesterday that the outrage is very vocal in France (which is a surprise the way animals/pets are treated especially in rural France). The animal charities there are asking for him to be thrown out of the French national squad and for the French judicial system to charge him, it would appear that animal cruelty even in a foreign country by a French national can be tried in a French court and carries a sentence of up to 4 years.

Does anyone believe him when he said it was the only time he did it???

As for him playing - David Moyes is normally pretty good in matters like this, but he got this one totally wrong

I like Moyes given he's an ex City player, but he and West Ham clearly didn't think a pet cat was worthy of the ongoing public outcry against Zouma and between them they handled it very badly.

In France people are calling for him to be banned from the national team which I also applaud.
