I agree with you to a certain extent. Given what has been said previously, I'm surprised Edwards, Manning, Maresca, or someone else of that ilk hasn't been more closely linked.

Alex Neil is in advanced talks with Sunderland over their managerial vacancy, I understand. Talks with Roy Keane have broken down in the last 24 hours. [HASHTAG]#SAFC[/HASHTAG] want a new boss in charge before Saturday’s match against Wimbledon.

One lad was on here last week. We are at our lowest ebb we cannot get any lower than this , surely. HaHaHaHaHa you have a lot to learn mate.I blame myself for getting excited. I was giddy as hell on Friday - Defoe was back, Keane on his way and we were going to smash Doncaster
****ing sick right now. Every time we are at our lowest ebb we find a way to sink ****ing lower

I’m in.Just been having a little bit of a read about Alex Neil tactically. Attacking, high intensity, lots of pressing, lots of passing options in the final 3rd. Bit direct, not so much playing through the thirds.
I'll say it again, Kisnorbo is the man we need
Just as we're all starting to accept Keane isn't coming and maybe getting our heads around Alex Neil as a possible alternative, the club will swoop in and take a massive dump on us my appointing Grant ****ing McCannI’m in.
