It's hope mate. We need a rocket to sort us out. He did that last time. We need a leader. We need someone to motivate and keep the players heads up when we go behind. All of that plus a good dose of nostalgia = Roy Maurice Keane. It's no guarantee, but we're past that stage, time to roll the dice for the playoffs.

If its because he’s turned us down, and he’s only turned us down this morning, its as much on him as it is on Speakman etc If its because we’ve turned HIM down for whatever reason, then the whole boardroom needs gutting.
Yes i think you're right. Fans are letting their hearts rule their heads too much though, because of the excitement he caused last time he took over Vs how depressing things are now they are just desperate for some kind of lift and something to be excited about again. In reality though, barring 1 excellent season for us he has done nothing in any managment or assistant management role to suggest he will make us the team we all want us to be.
Just speculating, but if its because he's not happy to work the way that the club wants him to, then that's fair enough. We shouldn't be changing just to accommodate him. Time to move on.
