Once again you're forgetting we've seen him play a full season. At least 3 of the goals I've seen you concede were at least partially his fault. Lonergan on the other hand has barely made a mistake. I'm not saying Schmeichel isn't good at this level, but he has built most of his reputation on his surname and a couple of performances on TV.

Which three goals were his fault? The only thing I can truly think off, and this is tenuous, is that he passed a bad ball to Mills prior to his sending off against Brum. Didn't led to a goal though.

Yes, you may have seen more of him than us, but he would have to go dramatically downhill to live up to your lot's opinions.

His record in this league isn't exactly bad. Better than Graysons.

How is his record better than SG's? Grayson took us to 7th last season and we are currently 5th, 3 points off 2nd with a game in hand. I'd say that's a pretty good record.

Well Millwall's first two for one. First the penalty was easily savable and it was a weak hand that let it go in. Second he slid right across the goal and left an open net for Henderson to shoot into. He also let the shot from Maynard in when it was practically straight at him.

You really are the most pathetic person on Not606.

He's been nothing short of class for us this season. An absolute bargain at 1m and you're blaming him for a penalty?!

    hahahahaha

He took Sunderland up(mainly with ex-Man United signings/loans), then he was **** with Sunderland, followed up with being **** at Ipswich, he makes Sven look like a genius.

And the other two. I'd say the most pathetic person is someone who can't accept that another set of fans actually think something different to him. Our respective positions in the league show we have been better than you this season, deal with it. You can think whatever you like but please stop trying to tell me what I should think. If you're happy with Kasper then fair enough, but I'd only have him back as 2nd choice. He's reached his level IMO.

I;d say what is pathetic is that you can't grasp the fact that he's been a revelation for us.

I don't care if he wasn't that great for you, for us he has been incredible and I won't be surprised if by the time he's at his peak he's playing in Europe.

Quality Keeper, no mistakes so far this season.

Don't you find it slightly odd that the only people who don't rate him are those who have seen him play the most?

Man City and Notts Co fans rate him. So do many neutrals I've spoken to.

Weale, from what you've been telling us, is probably worse than Rachubka, and that's saying something. Maybe worse than Higgs. To go from that to Schmeichel is a massive step up so I can see why you think he's so amazing, but it's all relative. If you were to buy Lonergan in the transfer window in January you'd think "****ing hell Leeds were right".

He played only a handful of games for Man City, so they've seen less of him than us. Notts County were in League Two, a significantly lower level, so how is that opinion more valid than ours?

I said we've seen him the MOST, that implies we're the most qualified to comment. I'll admit it takes a bit of time to get past the "it's the son of the great peter schmeichel", admittedly less for us because he was a scum **** and so is junior, but we are still more qualified to comment on his ability than the fans of any other team.

In fairness the neutrals will only have seen him on TV, where he always plays well. And I can accept he's been good for you AKCJ, just stop with all the "you're bitter" crap. We're not, we prefer Lonergan, so we're both happy.

Fair enough, but if you're not bitter then stop posting that 'he's crap' ect.

When 6 clean sheets out of 13 says he isn't...

First the penalty should never have been given. But anyway...

You can't say a keepers at fault for not saving a peno! That's asinine! And he spread himself as much as possible for the second. That's all you can ask from a keeper. I'm talking about glaring errors, thinks that make you think "the keeper's f***** there". For everyone one of these, there's 10 saves another keeper would have not made.
