I think I have read every one of these posts about a new manager, and I am completely fed up with it all. The management (sorry mis-management) has totally screwed up, the positivity that was felt when signing Defoe, then the talk of Roy Keane. If the decisions are down to Speakman, and he has it wrong, he can be fired. Someone earlier said he can't be fired, because all of the appointments under him have been made by him. To me that is absolutely rubbish, there isn't any one person bigger than the club itself. Let KLD show his ruthless streak and fire anyone who is not doing their job.
I still think the club (management) are making a rod for their own backs and being disrespectful of the supporters, by not giving out SOME information. Supporters are the backbone of any club, and while I agree with allowing the management to manage, it is ultimately the supporters who can make or break a club. Hopefully we hear something today, but not too sure.
PS I'm seven hours ahead of most of you guys, so if I get the info seven hours earlier, I'll let you know....lol!

Hoping we get an announcement early like, could do without another full day of pressing refresh every 30 seconds!

IF today IS the day wouldn't there at least be ONE media outlet or Twitter journo breaking the story? These things are never kept secret and not even the ****ehawks like Craig Hope or Scott "punter" Wilson are running with it......

OK I've been told clearly and posted, a week back, that Keane is sorted and will now be in place for Wimbledon.

Now the same chap has told me the delay has been trying to get Reid, and someone else, from Forest ...

... they'd have to negotiate fees with Forest, etc.

The delay would make sense then. Like the idea of Reid as his no.2.

Could it not be Steven Reid who is currently Forests coach?

    Ex Ireland etc.

  16. Let's hope so mate.....we need to get it sorted now.
And then, we need to get some clarity about the circumstances of recent events. Far too many stories keep surfacing about the management personnel and the way the club is being run. It's obvious to us all that something happened in the build up to the Bolton match....the team just downed tools that afternoon and haven't picked up since.
All the promise and optimism of the last year has been eroded in the space of 10 days and things need to be made clear to us.....the way we turn up week in and week out....surely we deserve some basic courtesies. I'm sick and tired of rumour, speculation and innuendo. We deserve to be given some confidence in the club, the manner of its' operation and the people in control. Yet more stories of another very wealthy individual being brought on board, which has been mentioned on here before now, which should be confirmed or denied. Sick of the mushroom treatment,me.

Andy Reid is Forest's u23 manager. Steven Reid is assistant first team manager. Could be either but I'd imagine Andy, given the links.

I know we all want clarity but we can't afford to mess this up by continually updating the supporters.

Newcastle made the mistake of blabbing about their new manager and it blew up in their faces when he turned them down ...

... pretending Howe was their first choice, all along, was cringing.
