Take that as long as we win Saturday. Hopefully Raphinha realises he’s playing on Saturday, woeful. Everyone else had a good game bar probably Ayling who was slaughtered by Coutinho. Meslier distribution worries me sometimes. Rodrigo much better. James outstanding.

Agreed he was poor, but tbh, as out 'star' player, they still had to mark him close, just in case. Hopefully he's be back to being a major threat after a wee rest.

I thought that was the best game I've seen Rodrigo play for us.

We really, really need that win on Saturday.

Nine points from these fixtures would be amazing.

Meslier - 5. Couple of really poor passes which put us under pressure. One great save first minute. Just looked a bit shaky all night.

Ayling - 4. I'm led to believe Coutinho was his man but I didn't see much evidence of him getting too close and when he did was left for dead. Supported the attacks well going the other way.

Struijk - 9. He might just be our best centre half now. Very mature performance, very strong, read the game really well and had a good impact on our corners. Build a team around this kid.

Llorente - 6. Got a goal but looked a bit headless at times. Took the responsibility of looking after Coutinho in the second half and kept him quiet. A bit of a loose performance.

Dallas - 8. On his best run of form this season. Mr Dependable in anything he is asked to do.

Koch - 6. Has a nuisance value in midfield but is no Phillips. Offers little going forward but does his bit defensively. Looks ponderous and confused as the ball fizzes in and around him.

Klich - 6. Couldn't physically cope with Ramseys strong runs but had his moments in attack. Decent on the ball but definitely lost any pace he once had. Can't fault the commitment or the effort.

Rodrigo - 7. Had some really good moments and looked like he could make something happen for us. Also had his usual brain farts and although looked dangerous we are venturing in to more games without a significant impact.

Harrison - 7. Good game. Put a few really dangerous crosses in with nobody attacking the area. Cash is a handful and Harrison (for the most part) forced him back. Much better recently.

Raphinha - 3. The worst I have seen him. Was he carrying a knock from Brazil? Jet lagged? Unsettled? Hopefully just one of those days.

James - 9. Couldn't have done any more for us. His best game for us.

    Subs.

Forshaw - n/a. Saw out the last few minutes.

Mixed feelings about that. Thought we played some really good stuff and were the better team, but coughed up some schoolboy defending.

From 3-1 down you have to be happy with a point, but kind of feels like it should have been 3.

But hey a cracking game and a fine example of the entertainment we get with bielsaball… even if it’s not so good for the blood pressure

The one thing I will say this season is that although we have our problems with injuries, form or just sheer lack of quality at times, the players, to a man, really do put a shift in every game.

Thats what hacks me off about people having a pop - as long as they give it 100% they've earned their money.
