I don't think we were as bad as some suggest on here. Boro were a good side in all departments. Warbs reverted to two 10s which is very attacking, but we concede goals being so open. Not the defences fault at all. Just too exposed. We looked a little more secure when Hendrick went alongside Field, but they were still dominant. Not the worst result imo.
Not the worst result against another in form team..... Blackburn lost as did Baggies who drop to 9th..... Forest and Sheff Utd win...... Play offs will be very difficult this season as there are some good sides gathering at the top.......
Well thats certainly a different boro team under Wilder. They put us under some real pressure, moved the ball well, had energy and if not for some great defensive blocking, would have won the game! Our substitutions did nothing for us, in the way of trying to win the game. A missed opportunity, considering blackburn amd west brom lost.
Lumley was wasting time while their manager was screaming to get it up the pitch...right too as we were the team hanging on...impressed with Middlesbrough to be fair and they're on a roll so a point isn't bad
Everyone applauds our attacking, attractive football and that's the Warburton way. We probably can't complain when we leave ourselves so open. Hopefully, we can outscore our opponents more often than not.
Would have been more of a missed opportunity had we lost. Gained on Blackburn. Mind you, having said that, I really don't think we're quite good enough for automatic promotion. We should make the play offs which should be very exciting.
I feel quite exhausted after watching that 2nd half! We were defending to a man. It is just a pity we could not get on the ball.
There was only one team going to win that in the end, so I'll take the point. Keeps us in the hunt, but we'll need to win at the weekend. Boro were very good.
We’re it not for a Lumley howler we’d have lost. We were poor tonight. It was a lucky point. We left them far too much time on the ball in midfield. That’s two poor results on the trot. Need to up our game.
