Our upcoming home match against Fulham has been selected as the club’s seasonal Tigers Trust matchday in which we highlight the fantastic work the Trust does for the community.

The Tigers Sport and Education Trust is a charity which aims to make a difference to people’s lives by involving them in sport. Through their work the Trust promote the values linked with sporting success and help up-skill people in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire region through practical activity. Involvement in community sport projects can help tackle a wide range of issues including health, youth crime and unemployment, with the aim of creating inspired and integrated communities living healthy and happy lives.

This is a landmark year for the Trust as they celebrate 30 years since the charity was founded in 1992, and to celebrate the Trust will be a huge part of the matchday activities around the stadium.

There will be a Tigers Trust special edition matchday programme, which will include the Trust being given the squad number 30 to celebrate their milestone. Videos showcasing the various programmes and campaigns that the Trust operate will be shown on the big screens before kick-off and half-time, as well as messaging on crowd facing LED screens throughout the match.

Players from Kirkella St. Andrews and South Hunsley, who are going on to represent the Trust in the EFL Kids Cup and EFL Girls Cup respectively, will also be presented to the crowd alongside representatives from Tigers Trust ahead of kick-off.

Ahead of Saturday’s match against league leaders Fulham we are encouraging all supporters to donate to the Trust if they are in a position to do so, to ensure they can carry on providing the community with the support which makes such a difference to people’s lives.

Supporters can donate £3 to Tigers Trust by texting TT30YEARS to 70085, or by clicking the button below to donate online.

    DONATE NOW
Commenting about the planned activity, Tigers Trust Chief Executive Catherine Bishop said “Since joining the Trust in April 2019, this is our first ‘take over’ day which I have been so excited about. The journey for the Trust over the past three years has been an important one, in addition to growing our partnerships we have continued to respond to the challenges and opportunities presented by the pandemic. I am incredibly proud to be able to showcase some of our work and say a huge thank you to the amazing Trust team, all of our supporters, our Trustees and Hull City for making this happen”.

Is this the first match City will play with a foreign coach against a team managed by an ex-City foreign coach?

I reckon an upset could well be on the cards, depending when that loss may be.

Baxter - he keeps the ball out the net miles betterer
McLoughlin middle centre back - best centre back
Greaves left centre back - 2nd best centre back
Bernard right centre back - aggressive and quick.
Fleming left wing back - best player 2 out the last 3
Longman right wing back - provides threat on that side going forward.
Smallwood holding mid - break the play up provide options for the back men to pass to.
Honeyman box to box - utilise his energy and ability on the turn to link the midfield to attack
KLP left wing - his actual position try isolate him against the full back
Eaves striker - runs all day nightmare for defenders
Allahyar right wing - pace got a bit of bite and desire to get on the ball.

Playing honeyman more disciplined as he over complicated things further up I feel sometimes. Especially last night. Mixture up front of pace and power from Eaves can make the direct style work more with these 3 up there too as Eaves headers won’t be wasted

After last night, I'll settle for us playing with some energy, another 10 yards up the pitch with lots more movement and first time passing.

    Team selection, that's Shotas job!

I've been thinking about Den's team.... Jones in for Smallwood.... ?... when he came I always thought we'd bought a midfielder who just happened to have to play CB due to injury...?

Change Coyle for Longman and put Alllahyar in top right and I’d be happy with that.

edit Alfie for the Doc, Doc needs resting.

I don't care what team he picks. We need to move the ball better (quicker and more accurate), we need more options when we have the ball, if we play it long (nothing wrong with mixing it up), make it a pass and not a hopeful hoof. Get ****ing stuck into them and don't let them settle on the ball.

    Easy peasy.

See nobody's named Forss in their team.

Simply not good enough and he won't come good it we give him a chance.

    Cancel his loan now.

    Save a few quid.

I really can't see anything but a Fulham win, but one can live in hope. Certainly need to play 100% better than Tuesday's abject performance. I like the look of:

    Baxter
    Bernard or Jones/McLoughlin/Greaves
    Longman/Smallwood or Slater/Docherty/KLP
    Honeyman
    Eaves/Allahyar

If we get a free pick, my choice for the City side would be:

Rodak; Williams, Adarabioyo, Ream, Robinson; Reed, Cairney; Wilson, Carvalho, Kebano; Mitrovic
