Concerning opening 5 minutes here, once again a 2 in midfield can’t seem to get a grip. They’re fire to every second ball
Day 13 of my covid headache and tiredness. Still off work...the first time I have ever had more than 4 days off in 39 years of working. Dr has decided I need heart tests (thankfully normal), blood tests and asked me to piss in a bottle ffs. Oh and I'm now on blood pressure meds and having to take my blood pressure twice a day They said covid has made my stress worse... they asked why I might be stressed ... then sighed when I said I supported spurs Oh and I chipped a tooth last week cos I grind my teeth in my sleep!!! This is my long winded way of saying... Please cheer me up a little tonight you spurs ... pleeeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeeeee
I bloody hope this is the football equivalent of 'rope-a-dope', cos if it isn't we're in deep trouble!
That style of press is easy to overwhelm, assuming you have a team capable of basic ball control and accurate passing. Welcome to the PL, where players are paid hundreds of grand per week and can do neither of the above.
Shame that, it was a nice delivery and good header from Romero. Need to get a grip on the game, really.
Put it like this : If you are Kane or Son, are you going to lay it on a plate when your team-mates are sh*te, or be selfish and take it on yourself ??
They do but it’s a shocking mistake from Davies, who is usually so consistent. We need to control games better because when we don’t, we leave ourselves open to that sort of thing. I still think 3 in midfield is better.
