As we're starting with 11, the extra man they've allowed us (at least for a few minutes) will be the deciding factor: 2-0 Saints! (See previous entry, about logic, and supporting Saints)

    Are the snipers in position?
I expect Spurs’ tactics will be similar to those they used at SMS, where they hit the turf at the slightest touch, encouraging the ref to give a yellow card.
Hopefully we have learned from that game and won’t be too aggressive in our closing down.

When we got to Wembley v Manure, I was there about 40 minutes before I heard any of their fans speak English, even then they didn’t sound like Mancunians. How they got tickets, I don’t know. Vast quantity of money perhaps?

Wear a Pearly King costume, and dance around like Alexei Sayle, or Madness.

The question is have you brought mini-Lincoln up properly? Is he a Saints fan? Living in that part of the world, you could forgive him if he gravitated towards a resurgent Nottingham Forest.

I think you are quite logical OSS!! Illogical is having an interest in the goings-on at the bottom end of the M275!

Is "bottom end of the M275" just a polite version of arse end?

Die hard Saints fan mate. Puts my current knowledge of the team to shame. He's beside himself with excitement as we've booked a hotel for a proper lads weekend away, he's got the last 4 seasons kits laid out on his bed while he makes a crucial decision as to what shirt to wear come game day <laugh>

I think the clue is the blue motorway junction sign, directing drivers to The Rusty Sheriff's Badge

It is easy to identify a Scouse and West Midland accent, even a NE one but a lot harder to identify the generic Mancunian one, let alone mimic one. That is my opinion. Try mimicing the Gallagher brothers - not easy. Wayne Rooney, easy!!

Also got fingers crossed that the Boro and Blackburn go up. Don’t want Newcastle to go down, despite the blood money regime.
