When we got to Wembley v Manure, I was there about 40 minutes before I heard any of their fans speak English, even then they didn’t sound like Mancunians. How they got tickets, I don’t know. Vast quantity of money perhaps?

It is easy to identify a Scouse and West Midland accent, even a NE one but a lot harder to identify the generic Mancunian one, let alone mimic one. That is my opinion. Try mimicing the Gallagher brothers - not easy. Wayne Rooney, easy!!
Also got fingers crossed that the Boro and Blackburn go up. Don’t want Newcastle to go down, despite the blood money regime.
