Put more efforts into your OP's bitch. Line up - EDIT ASM------Wood------Fraser -Joelinton--Shelvey--Willock Target--Burn-Lascelles--Trippier -----------------Dubz------------------- Actually I'd stick with the same starting 11 and bring on Bruno late on. Don't throw him in too quickly, especially into the Central midfield.
A difficult game but we should be ambitious and go for the win in this. If both sides are good and we draw 1-1 or 2-2, I wont be too disappointed. I have a feeling we'll win 2-1.
Shelvey out, Bruno in. Targett out (due to loan), Manquilo or Burn in. Bring it on. Everything else was superb tonight.
Dan Burn's played more times at LB than CB and is likely the reason Lewis was left out. Howe must have seen something - he didn't think "hmmm, I really rate Lewis, he's a decent young left back, let's leave him out." Besides we have Dummett as well.
I'd have left out ritchie he's done... He's not good enough to play anywhere now in this team. He's served the club well I hate saying that but he's finished here
I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Ritchie was left in for this season is the fight and determination he has. I doubt we'll see much of him but keeping him happy with a squad number may impart some of that attitude to the rest of the players?
Yeah agree. He and Eddie are mates and he is good to have around the squad. Wouldn't be surprised if Eddie brings him into the coaching staff in some form, so might be keeping him involved rather than shipping him out - even if his 1st team days might be over.
I get the feeling Lewis is very, very quiet. Ritchie is almost another coach, eyes and ears from the shop floor. Keeps the players straight as well, they'll know he's a direct link. As a player, though, Ritchie is already done. We have Targett, Burn, Dummett and Manquillo at LB.
In Eddie I trust. Anyone who says we haven't been improving every game is a mad man; man knows what he's doing.
