The season is over. Even if we end up 6th due to other teams ****ing up we have no chance in the play offs. Absolutely devastated tonight. How much lower can we sink?
What credentials has Dreyfuss shown? Thus far he's a daft wee Billionaire playing with his latest toy
I am sitting here bemused - I didn't see it tonight I was playing tennis but my form on the court reflected my mood I know some people know more behind scenes than others but some serious **** has gone on somewhere. 6 weeks ago we might not have been setting the world alight but we were ticking along, Now look at this a collapse worthy of an England Ashes team. Players look half hearted, coached being asked to be completely out of their depth, a director of football now showing why he was only an Academy director beforehand, no manager, rudderless - I don't think I have ever been so low watching Sunderland (and I am normally optimistic). In my mind and I would love to be wrong I have completely written off this season. A very sad state of affairs to be honest
He didn’t have a short term one cos he hasn’t replaced the U23 coach and he left in October. What exactly is the ****ing clown getting paid for?
In comparison to Storey- whether or not KLD is a billionaire in his own right, he comes from a moneyed background who have previously been involved in football. Storey owns a fake energy drink brand.
I know caretakers always say this but he said that as things stand he’s in charge for the weekend and will manage training rest of week
To be fair, Keane is the kind of bloke that likes things right. He told the owner of a Premier league club (short) in no uncertain terms fo shove his job up his arse because he felt disrespected. If this isn't right or he feels there will be friction, he'll just dodge back to ITV.
Two-thirds of that is completely right. Down the spine of our team that is. The Centre Backs are useless and the central midfield "leader" is a pussy. I know we've got a lot of youngsters at the club, but we have a lot of experienced players who are quite simply not leaders who can gee the youngsters up. As a result we look like rabbits in a headlight. Too late now, the damage has been done. With the pressure off we might start to perform better, but if we don't have leaders on the pitch, then by Christ we need a leader off it. Replacing Evans in the summer should be our number one priority, whichever league we're in.
Despite what we say, the fact the trillionaires up the road are looking up the stars and we're kicking a can down the street isn't helping.
The way things look at the moment is beyond concerning. It will absolutely cripple us in years to come. We will become a nobody while them take over the region. Harsh reality.
If memory serves correct, we had four bad defeats before Keano started last time. So, maybe we can accept that it's an announcement on Monday, and another humiliation at Wimbledon. Then Keano does what he did last time. Or am I grasping now.
