F1 will be free to air in 2012, legal or otherwise.

Throughout the 2012 season, I will be commited to posting as many High Quality Streams to the races as I can, saving you a precious google search every time.

Seriously, we're not ****ing paying £16 a month to watch F1 THAT'LL PROBABLY HAVE ADVERTS ANYWAY!

So yeah, while it sounds kinda pointless, don't even worry about missing out on the coverage. Murdoch won't be getting the viewership of not606ers :D

myp2p.pe normally has a decent stream of most popular sports. I watch footie and NFL on it usually.

    Thanks dude,

will you be trialing this weekend? It will send a clear message if the viewing figures to the new Indian GP were down.

Or just stream it via Sky Go on an xbox using someone else's credentials. Three of my friends have Sky Sports for the premiership football and didn't even know they had Sky Go accounts, as a result I've now got the full sports package streamed to my xbox in high quality thanks to my BT infinity broadband. Regular broadband works fine too but the fast the link the better the quality, plus I get to watch it on my TV and not my Mac or PC.

Sky are pretty hot on closing down streams. While I was in the US earlier this year I tried viewing a GP via several streaming sites and they kept getting cut off every 10 minutes or so. In the end I just bought access to a UK proxy and streamed the live BBC feed. Sky player however didn't work through the UK proxy. I'll be interested to see how you get along.

I usually watch the EPL from an Aussie station, a bit of latency, I don't mind seeing the GP in French or Spanish instead of Sky's feed (although I would prefer it due to it screwing over Murdoch).

    Westy
: I think I sit somewhere in the middle with a scream of rage! This country is throwing itself away whilst some of our children sit and laugh at their own plight!

Well quite. However, I seem to find myself having feelings of helplessness more and more these days as far as political topics go. It literally gets to the point where one can't believe what happens to the point of light headedness. Hence the move away from anger/sadness.

Yes, I fully understand this point of view.
But caving in to one's sense of helplessness is not far removed from a starving Jew feeding meat and cake to Nazis. Indeed, if we change the proper nouns of that sentence, analogous situations already exist within this country!

And Murdoch has a lot to answer for; a lot more than most…

This could technically be classed as a case of 'Godwin's Law', the famous observation about the mention of Nazi's in online discussions which was the precursor to 'Westy's Law'. However, in this circumstance I can see the validity of the reference.

Not being an overly politically aware chap, I do find it hard to get involved in what goes on. It's difficult to form opinions when you don't know which forms of media to trust. This is why I tend to just believe whatever Ian Hislop says on 'Have I got News For You'.

I always have to snigger and then shake my head woefully at the reference to 'Great Britain'.

You have GOT to be joking.

Presumably the 'Great' part is in reference to our previous national culture of being invading imperialist goons when we owned half the world?

Its more that we seem to do things continually that are certainly NOT great.

Pandering to leftie policies for say the last 40 years. Allowing education to grovel whenever some oik with thick parents make a fuss.
Following 'socialist' policies which are really just buying votes of the idle - where fools work when you can sit on your arse all day long if that standard of living suits you. Accepting the insignificant when we should praise the high achievers.
