'Terry represents his country and deserves everyones support' (slightly paraphrased) ... Wayne Bridge played for England but didn't exactlly have Terry's support! He is still rambling on about the refs decisions being unfair but the club hasn't appealed any of the decisions so they can't really believe that the sending offs were wrong. If you look closely at the interview after the game on Sunday you can see the exact moment that he turns into Mourinhio!!
There would be no point appealing, they would just extend the bans further. Bosingwa's is only a 1 match ban so he can just miss the meaningless Carling Cup game and be back for the derby on Saturday. Drogba was a definite red card. No other decisions can be appealed. He isn't Mourinho but does have similarities, I totally understand his frustration having seen the games myself.
Reason they are not appealing is because everyone other than Chelsea 'donuts' knows that the ref made correct decision in sending both players off. Chelsea fans just want to save face and will say: "There would be no point appealing, they would just extend the bans further". " Trust me If he thought they were wrong then they would appeal.
Villas Boa*se is wingeing little s**t. His team came up against a determined, committed side and his team were found wanting!!!
I must admit, i'm very fair and dont believe that i'm being biased, but Chelsea seem to be the team that throws their toys out of the pram the most when losing. They should pride themselves on being role models, not sore losers.
Some of your players couldn't handle the white-hot atmosphere DL and they lost it!! Not the English boys, they all knew the score, but players like Matta, Luiz, Drogba, Mikel....they really didn't like it up 'em!! Plus, there's no point banging on about the ref. The two reds were spot on. He missed the tug on Lampard, but he can't give what he hasn't seen! Definite penalty given away by the brainless Luiz too.
I disagree. It wasn't the defeat that infuriated the players, it was the nature of the defeat and the standard of refereeing.
I disagree, I think in general, all the players felt aggrieved because of the refereeing. I didn't think the 1st was a red and still don't but I have no complaints about the 2nd. Chelsea fans aren't upset about the major decisions alone, that happens, refs makes mistakes, but it was the general inconsistency in his refereeing that angered many. Time and games are a great healer and I hope we can use it in our favour for Saturday's derby.
You really do yourselves no favours by being such bad losers DL. Of course the first was a red. The only way it wasn't a red was if it wasn't a foul. But SWP was ahead of Bosingwa and Bosingwa had a hand full of his shirt. SWP tried to keep going but couldn't. Terry was never getting across making it a goal scoring opportunity. Also, Luiz could easily have gone for a 2nd yellow and Cole should have gone for his lunge on Barton at the final whistle, considering he had already been booked. You really have nothing to complain about and no-one to blame but yourselves!! Your coach came across as a whinging cry baby, giving the impression that everyone should just lay down and let the mighty Chelsea play their silky football and. you fans are coming across the same!!
Okay i will agree with you on that point, but I have seen players react in a far more professional manner at refereeing decisions than Chelsea did on Sunday. In all fairness i've seen some react worse. I may be wrong about this, but wasn't there an incident a season or so back where John Terry was alleged to have called Ledley King a 'monkey'? Wasn't you behind in that game as well?
DL Chelsea have won the Prem, Fa cup and been in a champs final. Your club will probably go on and win more stuff. I think Chelsea fans should let us have a win against a top 4 team without moaning. For us that result is massive and maybe for you embarrassing but blaming a ref who did an okay job is a bit sour grapes to me. Take it on the chin and move on mate.
I'm not taking the win away from you, I'm really not. QPR did what they had to do and did nothing wrong, but IMO it would be foolish to say the ref did an okay job on the day. I've said it before and I'll say it again, congrats on the victory and well done, your players performed well on the day and Warnock got the tactics right under the cirumstances.
Those were rumours/ allegations made up by Spurs fans as they couldn't understand why Terry had been sent off so merely speculated.
You have to understand that in the three games we have dropped points in this season, major decisions have gone against us which have resulted in a loss, we haven't been played off the park etc by anyone. As a coach it is easy to move on if you can address the problems, sort out the tactics etc but when you lose games partly (not completely) due to poor refereeing decisions it is difficult to move on. I'm willing to bet SAF will have an easier task addressing the problems in United's 6-1 defeat than AVB will have with ours. It is frustrating for coaches when you lose games you haven't actually been outplayed or outfought in. The 1st red will divide opinions but there is no disputing the 2nd.
Ledley King is one of the most mild mannered and calm people in the game, if you look at his reaction to Terry in that match then you have to conclude that something personal was said. I believe its SWP whos trying to drag Terry away whilst screaming at him 'what are you saying, what are you saying?' Drogba, at that time was always one to voice his opinion on decisions etc, and despite being very close to the incident, did nothing. Chimbonda and Zokora went berserk at JT and had to be restrained from getting at him. And now this incident with Ferdinand. No smoke without fire my friend, no smoke without fire.
DL you seem a nice fella but IMO your wrong. The ref missed ONE decision JUST ONE, the tug on fwank. It wasn't only the foreign players who lost there heads, Fwank, Cashly and king of the chavs Terry all got sucked in, great pros hey??
