Certainly there are a lot of keyboard warriors on FB and Twatter who over react. But I'm just taking what was printed by Elland in good faith. I didn't hear Bielsa's interview.
I wasn't having a knock at you bud, just seemed a good post to quote. Tbh, Matt seems to have become one of the frenzy feeders of late.
I know Gessa you weren't having ago, but if you ever think I'm wrong or don't agree with my opinion, then correct me, I've no problem with that. Elland can be a bit mischeivious at times
All this crap about players wanting to leave. If I was a manager/coach I would be disappointed if players were not pushing me for game time, shows they have a bit of fire in their belly
Exactly mate, fans moan about players who are supposedly happy to sit on the bench and take a handsome wage, then make a mountain out of a molehill over players wanting to get more game time, as Bielsa said, it goes on at every club. I see there is a frenzy about Gelhardt being one of the 10, this without any evidence what so ever he is, also folk saying Jimmy will never play for us again because he's shown disrespect to Bielsa, why should it be seen as disrespect if as he says, it has always been the same, players wanting more game time.
Shaks, when I did my earlier post I started off by saying the 23s know they are there to play 23 football and if lucky may get some first team minutes. The so called 10 if anything are wanting to play more football but in the 23s as most of them know they have no chance of getting on the pitch with the first team. So in effect are asking Bielsa to leave them in the 23s to play matches again. Its why I also said injuries this season meant no balance between playing and not playing. They want to play but cant play because the first team bench needs them. As players come back from injury more of them will go back to the 23s and play
Nohan Kenneh I have been tipping to be a superstar for 3 seasons now. His contract is up in June and wondering if he will be given another. Still only 19yo and regular England player at all age groups up to U20s. Models himself on Phillips and can play anywhere in the back 4 defensively. But excels at DM. He actually played 17 times for the 23s last season and I believe he wasnt far off MoM last night before taken off at half time so hes available for the Villa first team bench. Looks nothing like Phillips as hes a unit, a pacey powerhouse unit
Wonder if Summerville will now get his wish of playing more. This from Phil Hay: “The 20-year-old has continued to train at Thorp Arch since the deadline passed eight days ago and he played and scored for the development side against Liverpool yesterday evening. “He is not expected to feature in the senior squad at Aston Villa tomorrow night, however, and it is not clear how much involvement he will have in the rest of Leeds’ top-flight campaign.”
Made me laugh this because you will never get signed by Leeds Utd unless you’re a great baller and also have a great moniker Kristoffer-August Sundquist Klaesson, Crysencio Jilbert Sylverio Cirro Summerville, Cuba Peter Jayden Diboe, Pascal Augustus Struijk, Hector Junior Firpo Adames, Mateo Joseph Fernandez-Regatillo, Stuart Dallas.
